My 85-year-old Italian mother was admitted with a broken hip, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout her two-week stay. She felt safe, well cared for, and even complimented the food—which says a lot coming from her!nnThe surgeon personally called to update me when I asked, which gave us peace of mind and showed a real commitment to communication and compassion.nnThank you to all the nurses and staff—you made her recovery so much easier, and knowing she was in good hands helped ease our worries. I highly recommend this hospital.
Never again. Everything around the actual surgery was fine. Everything else was very sub par. Staff are not competent and seem to always need to ask what to do, in every situation. I spent 20 minutes waiting for a glass of water after they brought 6 pills for me to take...without water! They hooked me up to a machine to monitor my breathing from the nurse office, super loud beep was preventing my neighbor from sleeping. I stopped the machine and it took nurses more then 1 hour to notice and come ask!! Food is appalling, would not touch it. I spent 2 days eating jello and cranberry juice. Stay away unless you have no other choice.
I had a 10hr wait in ER before being admitted. I had an infection and need surgery. Well, infection or not and even with antibiotics, took 3 days to get surgery. Took almost 4 days to get all the correct papers to get discharged. Felt discouraged, depressed and angry.
I came in by ambulance because the day before I had a car accident and I did not feel too bad however 24 hours. I had several problems , neck back, pain in the chest and my left foot was all bruised red and d dark blue. Because they did a EKG and found nothing. They sent me to the waiting room..nThe triage nurses do not know how it is important to get people checked fast and properly. Just because I did that exam, they should of pushed me up so I get my x-ray of my foot and my chest. I could very much have problems with my organs and my foot.nIt is very important how the triage nurse puts people in the list.nnIt is not acceptable for people to wait in the waiting romm after a car accident.nIt is also not acceptable to have 1 doctor at 11pm for an emergency department.nn20 people waiting 12 hours.nnI will never go here again.Santa Cabrini fix your staff!!
Been asking directions, and questions to people cause i was lost and nervous, nobody deemed to answer. Saying it’s not their department. Being told to ask at the reception, the girls at the reception telling me to wait without answering. Nobody came , i had to ask about 15 people before getting an answer. My surgery was scheduled for 11 am and they told me its in order that people arrived??? The whole staff is rude and careless. I dont understand why everyone is so rude there…
