Naimas!! It’s rare to see an Ilocano Filipino restaurant around here and Sangkalan got the flavors on point! Was pleasantly surprised with the carinderia turo-turo selection Really delicious food you’ll keep coming back to, again and again. Kuya in the counter is really kind.
Any place that has amazing stews and braised dishes over white rice is a winner in my book!! I loved every bite! Good prices. Come for the kari kari, stay for the dinguguan pork blood stew. It looks different but all the kids in the know will order it! As a point of improvement, I wished there was bigger signage with menu options, but that may come in time. Lady over the counter was a big help. Just ask!
Me and my partner had so much fun in that restaurant, we had pancit , chicken curry, Laing, diniguan , and care care the food is delicious, fresh and the best I ever had from the Philippine. I love and and I recommend everyone to go this restaurant and enjoy the Pilipino delicates. Love love love it
Easily ranks as one of my favourite Filipino eateries. The stews are amazing, the bagnet is delicious and the staff and owners are friendly. Have not had a bad dish here.
THEY DO BOODLE FIGHTS!!! Call their restaurant and ask about boodle fights and theyll give you their deal 10/10
I didn't have many Filipino food experience but I have to say this is the worst I had. Food had no temperature almost cold and very very dry.Food: 1/5
Visited this newly opened Filipino eat-in or take-out restaurant for lunch. The business has occupied the premises left by a trail of previous ethnic restaurants that never survived for the long-run .. I very much hope that this one succeeds as the food is both authentic and delicious plus reasonably priced. No formal menus and serving is cafeteria format with a mouthwatering selection of traditional Filipino dishes. My sole disappointment was that the food temperature was tepid - a serving issue that should be readily fixable.
Had a beef dish, some steamed rice, a noodle tofu dish, a lumpia and a delicious banana lumpia. Price and quantity , quality is good.
Good selection of food. Great customer service. They should add two more good dishes with soup
3 star rating solely based on the experience and interaction. We'll give this restaurant another try another day for the actual food itself and update the review when we do. We asked if it was possible for a made to order large tray for parties and was told no, we can only order what's already on display in the warmer. Hopefully it was a miscommunication situation because we thought it was odd to not be able to order fresh food to bring to a party.
