A great addition to downtown Janesville! The sandwich we tried was delicious and the fries were amazing. They have a nice selection of beers, seltzers and wine. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, service was quick. The place is small but the atmosphere with the art on the walls is awesome. Highly recommend checking it out
Wow! Absolutely delish! First time here but not the last. We had the Tony's Pork Tenderloin sandwich and the daily special of a gyro sandwich. Their fries with parmesan aioli are my new addiction on steroids! Seriously could not stop eating them. I will be recommending this place to ALL my foodie friends Parking: Easy to find spot on street in front at lunchtime Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance. Door appears wide enough fot wheelchair Dietary restrictions: They had GF options and a vegetarian sandwich.
We had an amazing dinner here on opening night. Super friendly staff, eat food and great beer. I loved the deviled eggs especially. Also, the painted walls are worth going to just to look at. A true work of art.
The Fat Tuesday menu was great. The muffuletta was one of the best I’ve had. The crispy focaccia and tangy olive salad on top set this one apart. Sandwich Bar brings sandwiches to a whole new level!
I've been watching the progress for a while now and stopped in for lunch. I had the Jackfruit Torta and french fries with parmesan aioli. As a vegetarian I so appreciate a unique and delicious meatless option. This sandwich can also be vegan by removing the cheese. The parmesan aioli was fantastic! The murals of Anthony Bourdain and Julia Childs only added to the already fabulous ambiance. In addition to my server being super friendly, several other wait staff stopped to ask if there was anything I needed and how did I like my food. I highly recommend you stop in for a bite. You won't be disappointed!

I had the Eli Schmeli & it was so good. Softest bagel ever! The ice cream is made in house and the gingerbread flavor was fantastic. Great vibes, great servers. And the mural of Mr. Bourdain is an awesome way to memorialize his love for food.
Another Wisconsin Foodie road trip ending in success. The Joleen was excellent and the fries and aioli were just as good. We'll be making the trip back to hit the Lark next door.Food: 5/5
I was in town for work and only had the chance to grab a sandwich to go. Once I went to pick it up I wish I could've stayed for a beer or four. Cool place, great menu, looks like they had a cool selection of beer too. Will definitely revisit if I'm in the area again
Absolutely amazing food! Every sandwich on the menu is delicious and the fries with the garlic sauce is the best! :- The quality of the food here is above and beyond most restaurants. So happy this restaurant has become a part of downtown Janesville!
