Sandon is just a pure treasure. One of those very special places. Could spend a few days here with my camera. Kudos to those that spend their time and money making this place so excellent. Yes, it's the place with the old bus trolleys and all that other old junk. Just come here already.

You need to check out this place if you are interested in old mines and ghost towns. Such a surreal place to visit! Loved seeing the old busses from Vancouver!

One of the coolest little museums I've ever been to. The guy running the place was totally awesome. He was kind to my kids and had all sorts of interesting stories. You could tell he was passionate about keeping Sandon's history alive.

Very helpful staff and will help you fill water bottles with their very own tapped spring water (which was delicious!). Very cool little pit stop on the way up to Idaho Peak.

Interesting place a bit of the grid in more ways than one. If you're driving around in area it's worth a stop for 30 minutes.
