We recently stayed at the Sandman Hotel & Suites in Kelowna while visiting from out of town, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish.nnThe location was ideal, making it easy to explore Kelowna and enjoy everything the city has to offer. Whether we were heading out for meals, sightseeing, or attending events, everything was conveniently accessible, which made our stay even more enjoyable.nnOne of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional customer service. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, they made us feel like valued guests and were always happy to answer questions or offer assistance.nnThe hotel itself was spotless. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and it was clear that cleanliness is a priority throughout the property.nnWe were also delighted to find that the hotel is genuinely dog friendly. We were travelling with our corgi, who was just as happy with the accommodations as we were! It's refreshing to stay somewhere that warmly welcomes pets while still maintaining such high standards of cleanliness and comfort.nnI also loved the flowers around the hotel property. Beautiful.nnOverall, this was a wonderful stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Sandman Hotel & Suites in Kelowna to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, pet-friendly hotel in a fantastic location. We'll gladly stay here again on our next visit.
Nav K. Was exceptionally professional and very proficient with addressing any and all of my concerns and previous dissatisfaction.nMy original review was a full one star and would have stayed that way had it not been for her intervention.nNav far exceeds her current position and should be considered for management I'm a retired Jr.-Sr. Management Trainor and was impressed with her abilities.nRooms are clean and modern. If you're looking for quiet then stay away from the inner rooms as they open to the pool area which gets very loud as can be expected from little people playing.nThe parking spots are small causing larger SUV or Light Duty Trucks to maybe have a hard time finding parking. The parking available doesn't seem to accommodate the amount of guests staying plus anyone dinning at the two on site restaurants.nThey are pet friendly but you may find that all the pet rooms are located around the pool area. This comes across as a bit of a pita if you're looking for quiet space with a pet.nNO continental breakfast or breakfast of any kind. Not something you expect for rooms averaging $300 pr/night.nLocation is convenient. Nearby are several fast foods as well as a mall.
I stay here often in the tower. Convenient location, lots of parking. Key card access 3x to get to my room so I feel secure. Comfortable bright clean room as always! Also, Bar One is in the lobby open until midnight. Easy access for a late happy hour night cap.
We came out to Kelowna for a destination wedding and loved it.nnThe staff at the Sandman went out of their way to accomodate our Corgi, Lucy, and my need for caffeine all day.nnThe rooms were exceptionally clean, something I appreciated more than you know.nnEverything we did from start to finish of our stay was perfect. We'll be staying again when we come back to house shop.nnThank you Sandman Hotel & Suites Kelowna, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. You're a credit to the chain themselves, and I hope based on this review, you get an extra booking or 100.nnPeter Skinner & Willy Grant.
On June 5th, I forgot my black and grey hat in the room 288 in tower building. I clearly remember leaving it on the desk, and I am 100% certain of this because I specifically thought to myself that I might forget it.nnI called the hotel about few hours later and informed the staff that I had left the hat in the room but I was told that nothing had been found. I don’t understand how a hat that was left on the desk could simply disappear.nnI also requested that the security footage be reviewed. If you check the video of me leaving the room and entering the elevator, you will see that I am not wearing the hat. Unfortunately, I have not received any response to that request.nnThe hat was worth approximately $150 USD, but its sentimental value is far greater than its monetary value, which makes this even more upsetting.nnI am extremely disappointed with this experience. I have stayed with Sandman many times over the years, but my last two stays at this location have been very disappointing. During my previous visit in May, I found that the soap bar packaging had already been opened and the soap appeared to have been used.nnI would appreciate it if this matter could be properly investigated and someone could follow up with me regarding my missing hat.
