Disgusting rooms - very unimpressed. I would 10/10 not recommend. The ‘pet friendly’ rooms are on the ‘ground’ level AKA the basement. We paid $300 for a room in which I would have preferred to sleep in my car. We have been in the basement hotel room for about 10 minutes and I can feel the mould growing in my lungs. The room is by far the worst I have ever been in, and given the price is it quite ridiculous. The room is next to the pool - and boy you can tell - as there is extreme humidity and damp floors. The carpet smells like something has died in the room and an animal very well could have as it even has holes in it. The baseboards are black and look like they have never been cleaned. While the pics of the pool make it look like a dream, it’s more of a nightmare - unless you enjoy swimming with bugs and garbage. The clerk at the front was even swatting bugs away while checking guests in. Hope you don’t have back problems, if so you might want to avoid the puddles on the way to your room. Do not stay here, I would advise to avoid it at all costs.
The service from the start to finish of our stay was fantastic. From Maria checking us in, to the rest of the hotel staff making sure we were comfortable, id 100% recommend this hotel. The location and amenities are great. The building itself is getting older but they make up for it with great service and clean rooms
At first, our stay didn’t start off great. The first room had a clogged toilet and stained sheets. Definitely not what we were expecting. But Jonard at the front desk was super helpful and quick to fix things. He got us moved to another room and made sure the duvet was replaced. Really appreciated the way he handled it. In the end, we were satisfied with the stay thanks to his great service!
