Worse burger ever!
And the service... what a shame!
I ordered a burger the meat was overcooked and totally dry it couldn't go down my throat, the fries were cold and to make matter worse the waitress didn't bring silverware to my companion, didn't offer refill our drinks and didn't offer to bring condiments to the table.
I think this was my last visit to "the Sand hill cafe"

every time my wife and I are going racing at 131 dragway on the way to the track or on the way back home we stop the last three times the food was not so good some thing was overcooked they said that they would redo it but it took over a hour the first time so I sent it back it took them 5 minutes the second time I realized after cutting into it. It was the same steak just tuned over that was 3 week ago. Today the wife and I went back I ordered fried chicken the chef said that they had not cook it right there was some things wrong with the chicken it would burn on the outside and raw in the middle. I don't think they have chefs because a chef would have known the grease was to hot. Hope they can get a chef soon. They have a lot of bad reviews

Pretty good food, really nice and courteous waitstaff. Food came quickly too. No complaints, just not off-the-charts amazingness.

Service was well provided. Lindsey was very customer oriented and ready to answer questions on the menu, offer willingness to provide drinks, and just overall had a great attitude. The food. I ordered a Caesar salad along with a prime rib and chicken alfredo. Salad came out flavorful, and almost immediately after ordering. Was not over dressed and was crisp at the same time. The rest of the meal was delivered after 33 minutes. Far too long for even one person, let alone the fact that my order should have been for two. First off, the pasta, was cooked to al dente perfection. However, it was either not seasoned or cooked in salty water. Noodles had almost zero flavor. The sauce was negligible at best, as it had no flavor to add to the noodles. Almost more of a moisture barrier than anything. The chicken on top, while cooked well and seasoned well, was cool at best. It appeared to have died in the window. The coup de gras was the prime rib dinner. This was ordered blackened and medium rare. I have to start with the fact that this is one of the most difficult ways to prepare a prime rib, yet the cooks managed to pull it off. The flavor was amazing, exactly what I hoped for. The cook was perfection at its finest, a spot on medium rare. They were however doomed from the start with a rough cut of beef. While flavorful and cooked how it was asked, it was very tough to cut and chew. Upon speaking with Travis, the head chef at the time, he was aware of the lack of tenderness in the meat. Again, flavor and cook point were spot on. Just a rough rib. Overall, Lindsey was great for srcice, as quick as possible, Travis was great upon discussion of the discrepancies, but the food quality itself was lacking. Was still a good experience. Hoping that the next trip will be better after the conversation held. More to come.

Horrible service! My burger was good, however my fiancee's "all you can eat" biscuits and gravy was a freaking joke! Very unhappy, should've gone to the Allegan Grill House!!!
