Dr. Mary Jo Sandberg, DDS is an Ann Arbor General Dentist providing dental care to all ages in all aspects of their dental care needs. Services range from routine check ups to Invisalign therapy, from implant restoration to teeth whitening.

Our practice is located in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan, and has served Washtenaw County residents since 1992. We are proud to be multi-generational, caring for 3rd and 4th generation families. In addition, we serve patients who continue their dental care from as far away as New Mexico and Florida.

I was a patient since we moved to Michigan and had no insurance coverage and paid out of pocket for services. Always paid bills on time. Always went in for regular check-ups and cleanings. Even brought my little baby here - under a year old. And the way this office treated me was inexcusable. I called and explained multiple times that I had a toothache and was a breastfeeding my son, so I couldn't take loads and loads of painkillers. I was in pain, in excruciating paint. I couldn't sleep. I was sitting up all night holding ice to my face. I was crying in pain. The office just ignored me. I called the dentist directly after a week, because it was an emergency. She showed no concern for my situation and brushed me off for another weekend. I showed up in her office for the appointments and THEN she took the time to listen to me and get this: without even looking into my mouth she said, oh, you should go to a specialist, you need a root canal. Wow. Thanks. That advice could have been given over the phone. ANOTHER day was spent in pain. The way you trust a person and then they treat you like that after all the years of business you brought them. Unthinkable. My family and I have made a choice to seek medical services elsewhere, where patients are still valued and their pain matters.
Dr Sandberg has been my dentist for over 25 years. Her expertise and professionalism is far above the scale! Not once have I questioned her professional ability! I highly recommend her and her staff!
As a new patient, Dr. Sandberg was so kind and caring, she made me feel completely at ease and took great care of my dental needs. Her office is very clean and cozy with ample parking. The office staff and assistant we’re very friendly and accommodating. I appreciate that they took my insurance and made the entire visit a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Sandberg and her staff!!
Mary Jo and her staff are wonderful! I was kind of nervous to have a filling done today but Mary Jo did an amazing job!! I didn't feel any of it, not even the numbing shot. Will definitely recommend Mary Jo to everyone!
This is by far the best dentist i have been too. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hygienist is straight forward and honest. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am a long-time patient of Dr. Sandberg. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, she is fantastic! Dr. Sandberg is a also great dentist for the whole family. She has cared for all three of my children since their first birthday, and it is always a smooth and stress-free experience when I bring them!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sandberg since I moved to Ann Arbor in 2004. She is a great dentist, knowledgable and caring. She is a good dentist for all ages, having cared for each of my three children since their first birthdays.
Mary Jo has been my dentist for 15 years, including a couple of years when I lived in Toledo. She does really excellent work and has a great staff. She's also great with kids. I've had several dentists and she is the best.
