This was a complete pleasant surprise from the menu and quality of the food to the service. Such friendly sweet servers. We will definitely go out if our way to come back.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS. Place was nearly empty when we arrived and we waited over an hour for our food. During this wait, nobody stopped in to offer an app to our starving children either - but if they did it would have just extended the ridiculously long wait for food anyways. The Kid's menu stated kids meals were $12 but we were billed $13.99 each. The server asked my children directly if they wanted caesar salad - and guess what - to my surprise there was an extra $1.99 charge, per child for this salad - not that I minded the extra charge, but being made aware of it would have been a good start to demonstrating a tiny bit of decency. To top it off, the dessert (included in the kids meal) was a freezie - our children were excited about getting one on our way out, but the server informed us they were all out - on our way out the owner said they weren't out, they just forgot to put them in the freezer. Not that our kids are spoiled and can't do without, but again, it would have been nice to know the situation prior to ordering, or at the very least, at some point throughout. Thoroughly disappointing and we will surely never return. Worst service we've ever encountered at the Bend. Not that the owner will care, considering that there will never be a shortage of customers in this busy beach town, and based on the responses to other negative experiences, I doubt he will take any ownership for this mess up either. The food was delicious but, unfortunately, the lack of decency and apparent ignorance of good service, made this one of the worst restaurant visits to memory. If you have children, please stay away.

Chicken tenders were completely flavourless and the added shrimp to a salad was $6 for 4 small shrimp. My 1 year old wouldn't even eat the chicken... that's saying a lot right there. Very expensive for a very unsatisfying meal.

When this place was JDs they had an amazing teriyaki burger. They dont anymore. But the burgers they have are alright. Some of the beers that are on draught that dont sell well can be a little skunky though.

The back patio is very nice. Great place to have drinks. Food was mediocre.
