Great place with excellent food. Great view of the river. It was rainy the day we went but this would be an incredible place to sit outside in the summer, drink margaritas and snack on delicious Mexican food. Speaking of margaritas, they are huge. We got the 50 oz and those weren't the biggest. The menu is extensive and the service was great. We had a new server and she was friendly and accommodating. The hostess greeted us with a smile. No complaints. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Parking: Ridiculous amount of parking.
This place has really good food and I was very satisfied with everything. My order was not exactly what it said it would be on the menu but it was still delicious! Service was also splendid.Food: 4/5

Huge affordable Margarettas, I got a medium for a very reasonable price and some burritos texos I think. lava cake for desert was warm, moist and had some amazing chicolate. The dips are overpriced but the rest was fine. Nice view of the river, got to see some osprey and herons fly by while eating dinner. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Everyone had a good time. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice Mexican restaurant in Syracuse.
The time is 4:10 I have arrived ahead of my party of 3, and because they aren't here yet I'm told I have to go sit at the bar. I'm 76 years old, I don't want to sit at a bar and drink or have chips and salsa, I want to sit at a table and order something to eat and drink until my friends arrive. But unfortunately San Miguel rules, are rules, so I'm not allowed to sit at a table. The food is great, I've been here before however due to their less than welcoming attitude I don't know when I'll be back. I could understand this if they were busy, or had a full house, but if they have two other customers in here it's a lot. If you want good food but a lack of friendliness and customer service this is the place for you.

Tried this place for the first time! It was amazing! The food the drinks and the service! Definitely my go to Mexican spot from now on!

The food and service has been pretty good during all our visits, but I always feel uncomfortable eating there. I think it's their sound system, or one overly loud speaker, to blame. It's so bad you can't make out what you're listening to and it sounds like flat loudness. If that's a thing. I feel like I'm being yelled at during my dinner and always feel the need to leave earlier than planned; skip the 2nd drink or dessert, you know? Anyway, it really ruins the good vibes elsewhere they have going for them.
We really like San Miguels. They have a great selection on the menu and everything we've had has been awesome. The margaritas are awesome too. Always get an extra shot, you'll thank me.Food: 5/5
