A great Mexican place tucked into Whitehall. The food is delicious, especially the fajitas, which have plenty of spice and flavor. The tacos are filled nicely, and the burritos large and excellent. The cheese sauce they also give you with certain dishes is also very good and if you get a bowl of it with your dish, expect others to be asking to use it on theirs! The margaritas they have are very good, and a decent price if you get a pitcher, which coins with little boot glasses that are great and I want to get a set for myself. In addition, their lunch specials are priced fairly affordable, and it has become a favorite of my coworkers to come here for lunch on any day of the week. If you are in the Whitehall area, definitely consider stopping here!
I give it a 4 based on a couple things, the beef tips were great and the place was good with friendly staff, clean bathroomswith questionable positions of their hand towels and speed. The food in general was not something I really enjoyed. The major thing for me was lack of seasoning. Salsa was bland, cheese sauce was mediocre, beans and ground beef were flavorless, shredded chicken was alright. My cheese enchilada was not melted and there was more lettuce then anything else on the plate. Enchilada sauce was similar to ketchup but had an ok flavor, not what I was expecting. I did enjoy the beef tips. Id try the place again to see other items.
Went twice in one week. The first time I ordered steak tacos and got some kind of ground meat, it was flavored with something very salty... have them another chance a few days later. Ordered a steak burrito for 14.00, it was so small, about the size of a brat. The salsa that came with the cops was super runny, like water had been added. Ordered queso dip for the chips, that too was liquid. I used to live this place, not happy at all now. We were there when they first opened and there was lots of dirt, dust and small food pieces under the booths. I took pictures because I couldn't believe it. Nice wall decorating though... Won't go back, sad!
Very very impressed!! Excellent food as well as the presentation! Great top shelf and regular margaritas! Our waitress was Lindsey and she was fantastic!! This was my first visit here but I will definitely be back! This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant!! Great Job Staff!!!
This place is excellent. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had been there a couple of years ago we our whole family and had the same experience. I am not sure why we waited so long to come back. We will certainly be back sooner this time. Both out waited 6 and the hosts did a great job getting people seated and served efficiently. The menu offers a wide selection. We both had enchiladas. Mine were chicken with a green sauce.
This is what I expect from Taco Bell : been a loyal customer for years until today… was charged for my sides when they were suppose to come with the meal. The cheese was barely melted and the shell wasn’t even cooked and they didn’t even bother to cut it. Makes you wonder how lazy they are in the kitchen. This is the sorriest quesadilla I have ever seen. Was told to call when manager was in so we called when manager came in then the manager said we didn’t call right away so nothing he could do about us being charged for our sides then hung up on me! Will likely never come back! $40 for this meal lol what a joke…
Authentic Mexican - absolutely great! I loved the steak tacos simple with its cilantro and onion, though you can build your own. Great service and good prices. Will definitely be back.
The food is incredible, but a little inconsistent from visit to visit. My favorite dish has pineapple, sometimes only a little, sometimes a lot. Besides that, the house salsa is fantastic. The restaurant was remodeled and looks incredible. There is a lot of craft work in the decor. The service is always friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I love coming here and recommend it to friends when they visit.
We have eaten at San marco‘s several times. When we first moved here, the food was consistent and very good. We’ve dined there twice in the past couple of months, and the food has definitely gone downhill. The quality of the food is definitely on the decline. Portions are smaller, food has come out cold on multiple occasions. While the service is good and they wait on you quickly, they never check back so you don’t even get the option of sending your food back. My wife ordered chicken taquitos and they brought out beef and never came back to check we waited 15 minutes, and when they did finally come back they took the taquitos back and brought out cold chicken ones instead That were swimming in a puddle of Grease. We won’t be back
Had lunch there on a Saturday, they had just opened for the day so we were the first ones there. Service and food were very good! I highly recommend the fajitas! One of my favorite places to go out to eat.Food: 4/5
