Great experience. Manage your expectations. It’s a second generation Business famous for Veal, Sausage, Chicken and Steak Sandwiches. Pizza is also very good. I get mine well done so it’s not too doughy but with a nice crunch and flavour. Beer is cold. Place is best for take out, but good for sports if you want a table. Also try lasagna, spicy olives and good salads. 4.5/5 - on todays visit.
Love it . This place is amazing . The food is delicious, and the portion is huge . That day I ordered panzerotti , and my wife ordered a sandwich , both of them were really big, moreover , the price was good related with the size and quality of the food. Highly recommended . Pizza are really good as well.
One of the finest local sandwich place. I tried veggie hot sandwich with caesar salad. I love the tomato sauce they put in and veggies were so good and delicious. So big in size and cheaper in price. First time tried with my colleague and loved it so much.
Went back to this location after 20 years and the sandwiches still are the same - HUGE portion and tastes *chef’s kiss*. I really prefer veal sandwiches that are fried as opposed to ones that sit in a tray of sauce. So happy to see the sandwiches are exactly as good as I remember after all these years.
Best steak sandwich combo - salad and beverage. Better than the original on Clinton St in Toronto. Eaten here several times and never been disappointed!
Great place to eat, prices are unbeatable for what you get! Ignore how it looks just walk in and try it out yourself. Brav what a place to feel at home, hands down great food and service! Chris makes the best sandys thoRecommended dishesMeatball, Lasagna, Steak Sandwich, Chicken Wings
Great food for a decent price. The guys running the place are a bit gruff but they just seem to be that way. The place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but the food makes it worth it.Food: 5/5
Got a veggie sandwich and garlic bread with cheese. Their regular sauce has anchovies, good thing I asked. They used pasta sauce for my veggie sandwich. They loaded it up with toppings too Garlic bread came on the same bun as the sandwich and it was great. Friendly staff. I came around 8:30pm and the outside lights weren't on so it was a bit hard to see being my first time. Will stop by again since On A Bun down the street has closed down
I've never made a review before this, but this was the first time I've felt I had too. The service at this location is absolutely terrible. I first went to the Dundas location and even though they said online they were open when I arrived they were in fact closed. I proceeded to call this location ahead of time to ensure they were open as I didn't want to waste my time driving if they were in fact closed as well. When I called this location to confirm if they were open the guy on the phone was like "well I would hope so" in a very rude tone. Throughout the whole call he was very rude and when I proceeded to place my order he seemed irritated. I have no idea why this place has such horrible customer service but definitely something they need to work on. I've been too many other locations and never had this type of interaction right off the bat. Definitely will not be coming back to this location again.
Honestly the worst pizza I've even had my entire life. 1st time I ordered it was gross but thought they had a off day, got my pizza today and I threw it out. I've never in my life had thrown out a pizza from it being so gross. Disgusting! The dough was goey and raw, and that's with it "well done." It's like the dough was bad, like I didn't rise or something. Disgusting! San fran is known for their amazing veals and pizza but avoid the location on unity at ALL cost. No idea how they're even still in business. This isn't from a off day or them being busy, this has been on more then 1 ocassion now. Just straight nasty! They're making all the locations look bad for how terrible it is.
