Super friendly staff!!! Great beach vibe even on the side of a highway! All of the food is great and we appreciate the paper plates and wooden cutlery - yay for environmentally friendly dishware! Dirty fries: do I need to say anything more about it?! These are THE BEST fries I've ever had. Bacon Cheese Burger: the patty is all beef and seasoned perfectly - the patty reminds me of a really good Italian meatball. SO GOOD.
Omg..... This place is great..... Haven't had a better burger in my life. Worth the wait. Always busy with regulars. Always heard about this place and never made but finally did and I'd drive up the Malahat everyday if I could. Sammy is the only one. Taking orders. Cooking and serving her customers. So please appreciate the time and effort that she is putting in. She has years of great cooking experience. So if you get a chance take a joy ride and come get some great food. You will not be disappointed.
After a long day of work my girl and I popped in for a quick burger and fries....and possibly some deep fried mac and cheese. Samantha herself served us, and serve us well she did. Excellent meal and she gave our two boxers a couple doggy treats. All around a great spot. Definitely worth popping by. Keep up the good work!
Have been wanting to try this place since the summer and it was everything I hoped for and more. One of the best burgers I have - no frills and packs a punch of flavour. Almost bought a second one for the road after finishing my burger. Will definitely come back!
Leave a half hour early g ping north so you can stop to try out a tiny food trailer advertising burgers next to the tiny gas station with Vancouver islands lowest gas prices in Malahat BC.. Where the blank is that you ask? This is truly a blink and you miss it kind of place as 4 lanes of hiway blast past the best view in the world. It's 12 minutes north of Millstream Rd exit. Langford. These aren't burgers and fries. Just like Sammy isn't a short order cook. She's a chef who turned her hand to bring exquisite and delicately seasoned quality ground beef and perfect cook times to those fortunate enough to find it. It's a treat. We now stop for her crazy breakfast in a bowl when we are going to the lake in the morning as well. So nice job Sammy! It's a treat visiting and that big deck you're building is exactly what you need!
Wonderful little place to stop and grab a bite. Real food made with fresh ingredients! The price is worth every penny! Beats out any burger from a fastfood joint. Come here to get some food! You won't be disappointed.
Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat. Their burgers blows away any fast food place and the amts of food u get for the price is unbelievable. 15 bucks will leave your stomach full af with some leftovers to take home
Got a weeks worth of "heat and eat" meals from Sammy's. Im compleatly floored at how good these reheated meals are. So freakin delicious. Srsly just like mom use to make! Couldnt recomend them more! Sweet and sour pork! Chicken curry and rice! Vegan Sheppards pie! I cant wait to see what im having tonight!
The food was delicious! I have many food allergies and Sammy was very kind and open to figuring out something I could eat which meant a lot to me. What a wonderful person! I will be back at Sammy’s any time im passing through.
Definitely not a fake review. Don't throw burgers at children and their mothers faces cause you sold a burger with soaked soggy bun Clearly you are rude and should not be in this type of business.
