Went here for a birthday dinner with group over 10 people. I found the food quite good , and arrived to the table fresh. It took a bit long to get orders through, and for food to arrive. I wanted to order more food but it seemed like they were trying to rush our group out faster by giving our bills right away. Overall I enjoyed the vibe and food here.
Great spot for casual dining with a fun and lively atmosphere! The food is flavorful and well-portioned — perfect for a night out with friends or family. The staff is friendly and the service is solid. Whether you're in for drinks, dinner, or to catch the game, Sammy J’s delivers a consistently good time. Highly recommend!
The place was clean, nice, and cozy. The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered the steak bites and a burger, and both were great.nnHowever, I did feel a bit uncomfortable with the service. All the waitresses were very young and seemed somewhat unfriendly, especially toward non-Canadian guests. It felt like they were trying to seat us at a table we didn’t want, and there was a noticeable delay in taking our order and checking on our table.nnDespite that, we really enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
Absolute 5/5!nnI’m a big fan of thin crust light pizzas. Sammy J’s chicken BBQ was the best thin crust pizza I had in a very long time. Compliments to the chef and looking forward to trying other menu items too. FYI they said Sundays and Mondays are $5 off pizzas.nnPerfect warm vibe, great for social hang outs with friends and fam, or even work events and small celebrations. Great service as well!
Cute establishment that I visited while filming in Vancouver. Nice staff, lively atmosphere. It is really bustling on certain nights. Good selection of beers, both local and international. I enjoyed the mussels in white wine sauce with garlic bread.
