What a great restaurant to dine in in the middle of the trip. It has excellent service, and the waiter treated us with an endless smile and generosity. The food is superrr tasty and delicious.
Ordered salt and pepper wings to try out the food. Took a bit but they where great. Didn't taste frozen and where cooked and seasoned very well. Gave a lot of confidence in trying other things from the menu. The drinks are just pop from a can so if you order a coke its pepsi and ice tea is just brisk might not be everyone's cup of tea. Ordered the rib samplers and chicken teriyaki bowl after asking the waitress what was good. Came with a soup or a salad with both the menu items, ordered one of each. The soup was a vegetable melody which was a bit bland needed some vinegar or wine or something to help brighten the flavors of the soup. The caesar salad was a bit heavy on the dressing pooled on the bottom and was a bit mushy but overall pretty good salad. The teriyaki sauce was housemade but unfortunately that is the last positive thing about the food. The chicken was frozen and or overcooked it was rubbery and the vegetables tasted like they came out of a bag. The ribs where extremely overcooked as well and not at a high enough temperature as well meat fell of the bones and the fat wasn't rendered properly and the garlic bread was overcooked and charred a bit. Seems like they are very good at the basics of cooking but just need to improve at the more complex aspects. Only took q few bites before sending it back and the waitress was very nice and apologetic about it being crummy which none of it was her fault. When she went in the back to talk to the kitchen about it the owner took it off and we got to pay and leave. Overall would revisit and try since the wings, homemade teriyaki, and the waitress hospitality definitely makes it worth going back to see if anything else on the menu is good/great.
Came through town with kids on a hockey tournament very nice staff Amazing food! Everyone in our group talked about how delicious the beef dip, wings and tacos were they had butter chicken soup for the special I wish I ordered more to take home! they even have a basket of outdoor toys for the kids to play soccer or catch while we wait for the food can’t wait to come back!
I had the lasagna, it was terrible. Tasted like it was frozen with freezer burn, cheese was clumpy and the taste of the meat sauce was barely editable. I had a few bites and threw the rest of it out. They didn't even use the proper lasagna noodles. The garlic toast had a small spot of garlic and butter in the center of the bread, it was dry and barley toasted. I am so disappointed as there are not many places to eat in Barriere and now I will never go back to that place.
The best pizza I've ever had in my life!!!!!!! Such a fun night, the owners are absolutely outstanding and the atmosphere is perfection. If you are in the area do not miss out and come to Sam's!!!

Great menu and the food was of decent proportion. Was full and didn't even finish it all. And it was good feel at home kinda cooking and tasty
My husband and I always call down to place an order when its i don't wanna cook nights. Always amazing food. Always hot and fresh. Our absolute favorite is lasagna and there greek salad is fantastic
Really really really good food. If your a fan of a big juicy burger this is a great place to go. I did find that patty a little too fat for my mouth, would have been nice if it were a little flatter and wider. None the less absolutely delicious. Nice thing, it's right off the highway 5. Very handy when on a road trip. Nice little patio area for the current situations of the pandemic. It is a little pricey for sure. It's no fast food restaurant and the quality of the food shows it.
Best chicken caesar salad ever had. Clean, service very good. A very pleasant atmosphere. thank you.
