Sam's-Leon Mexican Supplies

The food at Sam's is always delicious; haven't been served a bad thing on the menu yet. The staff is very Helpful and Pleasant to talk to. And the restaurant is clean.

I'm adding this to my list of best Mexican food in town. The tamales are the best I've ever had on either side of the border. The carnitas tacos are very authentic and beyond yummy. Great prices. Tight parking though but worth it.

Stopped in to pick up the Christmas tamales I ordered. Everyone was very friendly and the tamales are fantastic. We will make the drive to go back.

Definitely NOT the best tamales! The ends were a very mushy bite. Reminded me of dog food. I'll stick with Jacobo's.

Slow service Spent my whole break 30 minutes waiting in line and the line was only two persons

The green sauce is probably the best I have had! As for the rest of the food...it's decent, price is competitive. But I prefer Netties, GI Forum, or at lunchtime the guaca maya buffet. If you've never been, Sam's is worth a try, see if it's your thing.
