Wanted to try a new place tonight so we decided to order from Sam's Grill. I am politely giving 4 stars as my family was happy with the meal. It was a 3 for me at best. Family enjoyed the taters, cheese burger, bacon cheese burger and chicken fingers. Fries looked perfect in the pictures on Skip, however they are not similar. Potato's are not peeled to make these fries- game changer for me! Ordered specifically as the fries and poutine looked amazing... Not great! Hot dog was decent a little dry as cheese and all the toppings were hiding behind the dog!
Amazing food I got the pulled pork poutine and it was great. The guy working the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. Will be coming back another day this week as I'm working in the area. Would definitely recommend!Food: 5/5
First time trying the new restaurant on Guelph Line. Ordered Montreal Smoked meat poutine that I will rate 4/5 and the Classic poutine that deserves 5/5 rating as it is one of the best poutines I had. Staff is very friendly and fast serving the customer. Will return soon.Food: 5/5
Fabulous Fresh meat Burger with hand cut Fries, hot, so many that they spill out of the container. Really filling and tasty. If you want a great burger and fries get here!
Wanted to try something new. First time here staff was very friendly and greeted us at the door. I can’t review without mentioning prices, good prices with lots of combo options. Delicious burger on a gluten free bun! The bun was so tasty and so soft you’d never think it’s gluten free! Will be back and will try milkshakes next time! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns available. You can ask for fries to be made gluten free you need to specify to avoid cross contamination. Staff very knowledgeable, being coeliac I felt comfortable eating here. Parking: Huge parking area, parking always available.
Sam's Grill Burgers and Poutine have the best Halifax donairs. It might seem expensive, but once you get your order, there is too much food for one meal. The staff are great and the restaurant is spotless and clean. I highly recommend Sam's Food: 5/5
Say cheese!!! What a hidden Gem Sam's Grill is!! The food is delicious, fresh and so so good! Prices are on par with what you pay at the Fast Food places but the food at Sam's Grill is by far fresher and tastier! You can go wrong eating here!!!Food: 5/5
Their food is decent at best. My husband just ordered their 2 for 1 double burger, and when I went to go pick it up, they told us we couldn’t get that deal. The worker got the manager on the phone with my and the manager was so incredibly rude and told me to dispute with Uber. Which I did, and received a refund. Honestly though, food is half decent nothing out of this world but extremely over priced. Never ever will go back due to terrible customer service. Will advise family and friends to stay away from this restaurant.
