Salvinos

I have been coming here for 8 months now. The food is great! However the evening manager has seen me on more than one occasion and has looked me in the eye and has not even introduced himself. He seems to have his own click of a crowd and should be more involved with customers that pay for his paycheck!!! I come here weekly!!!! It took for me to go to Wayland to get a Salvinos preferred customer card to accumulate points to get a gift card, no one has ever asked if I would like one. As I am sitting here writing this, the manager is sitting in a chair on his phone!!!! How is that for customer service???????????

Huge menu everything is good. Staff is fun and friendly. Good beer selection. Tons of TVs, great bar to go watch sports. Their French fries are beer battered and really stand out

I usually have great service when Tone is waiting on me. He is the best server I've ever encountered. Today was his day off so Rocky was my waiter. He was very pleasant and polite but very aloof. He focused all of his attention on a large table the had several different checks and neglected my table until I asked him for a refill. Then when he brought my to-go box, he did not ask if I was ready for the check. I waited patiently and watched as he returned time and again at the bar to talk to another waitress (without getting any drinks or placing any orders) and as he kept tending to his large table (which happened to be right next to my booth). He walked by my table 7 times, looked at my table each time he walked by as my to-go box was sitting on the edge of the table (indicating my meal was finished). I finally had to ask for my check to cash out. I have worked in the food service industry and this kind of service is very unacceptable. This is very unusual service at Salvinos in Plainwell. I'm a regular and would like to remain as such. However, if I continue to get service as poor as the service I received from Rocky tonight, I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

I ordered a bean burrito with mushrooms and peppers. Ordering went fine, and she never read it back to me. I specified what type of peppers I wanted in this burrito btw. I get to Salvinos to pick up my order and pay for it. She read me the order and said banana peppers. I corrected her and said I wanted the red and green peppers, not banana peppers. She corrected herself and said yes that's what I meant. So I paid for my food and took my food back to work. (15 minutes away from Salvinos). I open up my burrito and it has banana peppers inside. I call today to just let them know what happened, and the manager on the phone doesn't apologize, doesn't seemed concerned, and doesn't care to listen or really say anything besides I'll let whoever did it, know. I hung up and said thank you. 1. If you don't think I deserve an apology for messing up MY food that I ordered and PAID for, then you never deserve my money again. 2. If you are a manager, you shouldn't sound like you hate your job on the phone and seem like you just don't care about your customers. 3. My burrito was gross but I still ate it because it was my only lunch at work. I wasn't calling to get my money back nor get free food, I was only calling to let them know what happened and how disappointed I was with it. Yet, now I feel like I should have with the way the manager handled the phone call. (Cassie was her name, maybe?) 4. I will never go here again/order take-out again. Learn some customer service people. Thank you.

The steak was very good ,service was great. A very nice Friday night dinner
