For this 70 year old guy and my 65 year old wife, Saltus has provided us with the means to stave off the effects of aging on strength and mobility. More than that, it has made us stronger and more resilient with regard to injury prevention and recovery. Not only does this allow us to keep rowing and competing, it gives us the edge and motivation to challenge other rowers for top spots. We highly recommend Saltus to all athletes, whether old or young.
Sean has always been so prompt and helpful in responding to my questions and helping me with registrations. He is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. My daughter actually trains with Leo, who is also very professional and well informed about exercises to target specific muscle groups and conditioning needs. He is encouraging and easy to relate to so my daughter likes to train with him. My daughter also tells me she thinks Sean is very approachable and kind as he greets her by name with a smile each time she goes for training even though he is not her trainer. Nothing but the best to say about Sean, Leo, Tom and the rest of the team at Saltus! I have been training for a marathon and one of the things I was focused on was building strength leading up to the block and maintaining it throughout. My experience at Saltus has be phenomenal, as I was taken care of every session with personalized workouts that were optimized for my maximum development. Furthermore, the coaching and trainers are incredible, particularly with the way they communicate and motivate me to be the best I can be every session. Saltus helped me improve tremendously with regard to my athleticism, speed, strength, mobility, physique, agility, explosiveness, and vertical jump. Thanks to Saltus I am a faster runner and I have quicker footwork on the court, which allows me to be more mobile and dynamic, making me more of a threat against my opponents. Moreover, I am immensely stronger with an increase in muscle mass, which contributes to my faster speed, vertical jump, and fast twitch muscle fibres. Overall, Saltus has helped transform me from an overweight big guy in my rookie college season to a professional athlete.
I came to Saltus Athletic Academy as an 11th grade basketball player competing on one of the top teams in the province. Before coming to Saltus, I struggled with nagging injuries and was not aware of how an athlete should be training and recovering. Sean took me under his wing and taught me the foundations of how to train like an athlete, and as a result, these nagging injuries began to disappear. Furthermore, I began to see the work in the weight room pay off on the court. I felt a lot stronger, quicker, and bouncier when playing basketball. The atmosphere at Saltus is great. They regularly train athletes at the highest levels, including professional and collegiate athletes, as well as weekend warriors who are looking to improve their general athleticism. Sean and Miguel have provided me with invaluable knowledge that I use everyday. I would recommend Saltus to anyone who is looking to improve their athletic abilities, whether you are a young athlete or an older individual. As a bonus, they train very close to Jericho Beach. There’s nothing like hitting the beach after a hard training session at Saltus.
I have trained with saltus for years when I was a competitive basketball player in high school. trainers/workouts are excellent. The trainers are very detailed oriented, making sure you get the most out of each individual exercise. I have noticed great results since working out with them. Would highly recommend for athletes who are looking to bring their game to the next level.
Saltus Athletic Academy is no less than THE best place to train seriously for sports, especially if you are a youth athlete but not only. All of my kids have greatly benefitted from the expertise of the Saltus trainers and are seeing better performances on the basketball court and the soccer field because of their efforts, not to mention being resistant to injury. I can confidently give my highest possible recommendation to these awesome strength and conditioning coaches!
I’ve been going to Saltus for about 2 years and I can definitely say that it’s the best gym I’ve been too. I struggled with knee pains, and after about three months I barely got them anymore when I was playing sports. The staff are amazing and do their best to help you with any mobility issues you may have and all around great. The environment is super nice and training alongside your peers is always a fun. Definitely recommend coming here.
Top-quality coaches, a pristine workout environment, and results to show. I began lifting with Saltus back in 2012 when I was in grade 9. They helped me build a solid foundation, then progressed, helping me drastically improve physically; quicker, faster, stronger. The coaches are also ahead of the curve with the knowledge and workouts they put me through. They also have got the best equipment out there - the Kbox is no joke. By far the best experience I've had working out with trainers, S&C coaches. If you want to get ahead of the competition, this should be your destination.
