Wonderfully enjoyable but challenging layout, it will be on future golf trip lists!
This one star ranking is from a terrible experience, this is an absolutely gorgeous beautiful stunning golf course. Played as a twosome and got paired up a club member in one of his friends. His friend decided it would be a good idea to bring his two girls out golfing with them ages 4 and 7. This is definitely not a place to bring kids this is not a daycare it's golf. We constantly had to wait for the kids to tee off on our tee boxes as well a putt on the green. Absolutely no etiquette whatsoever that didn't seem to care and thought it was kind of funny. Kids picking up your ball before you putt it and then putting it back down walking through your lines talking and screaming and chasing each other around the green as you're putting. A very patient group behind us had to watch as kids are playing on the green as they're waiting to tee off. One of the girls decided that the salmon t-box marker didn't need to be there picked it up and threw it into bush and the dad didn't even bother going to look for it. I've never experienced anything like this and I never want to again this is not a daycare it's not a place to let your kids run around. You want to take your kids out and book a foursome.
We booked 1.5 weeks ago for 18 holes. I came from Kelowna to play 18 to be told our tee time was booked at the Heritage course for a tee time 10 min earlier for 9 holes. Our friend, who booked the time, verified the phone number he called and confirmed our information to be correct. We were grateful the Heritage accommodated us and squeezed us in for 18 holes. Not happy and not impressed.
They have one price online and a different when you go to pay a the course. Their twilight rate is ridiculously high for what the course is and for the pour management of the course. The hilltop snack shack is rarely open.. other courses near by such as Shuswap National is a much better track and value.nnThis course used to be my favourite. Since golf North has taken over it has gone severely down hill.
I switched to this course this year and it's been awesome. The course is one of the best around and always in great shape. The online tee time system is convenient and the staff have been wonderful all the way around.
