Salisbury House

Do not order the Greek salad, I don’t think they’ve ever seen an authentic one before. The feta was so old it made my nose burn. The staff was grumpy, literally no smiles at all, and chatting in the back even though there were only 3 tables to serve. And we got to listen to the vacuum our entire dinner. So disappointed! I know Sals can do better!

This is a great place, lots of fun staying late at night with friends, best 24 hour restraunt in the area. Edit- They got rid of the 24 hour service, it really sucks, I enjoyed staying late with friends, but I guess I can't now. Especially since I work evenings I can't go anymore.

Excellent food. Waitresses are very friendly, even if one of them went to high school with my daughter, who is 27 now, Sonia is her name...red hair...she has a strong dislike for my daughter...she avoided us last month when we were there, but last night she waited on our table. Her behaviour was cordially frosty towards my daughter. Otherwise, she treated the rest of our party with professional courtesy.

Expensive but good food. 24 hour fast service creates great ambiance at any time of day (or night). Have visited here with a friend several times at the early hours of the night for late meals and the waitressess and waiters were still very quick and friendly

The one thing you have to love about sals is their burgers. Or as they call them nips. Amongst other burgers compared to fast foods their meat is fresh and not dry. The servers are friendly, the food is great, the timing of the food coming out was no more than 10-15 minutes which was great with two young gentlemen cooking for us and it's very clean and not so noisy. Though they should follow Winnipeg's Salisbury houses and serve alcohol. Will definitely come back
