My family has had such great care with Dr. Rahim. He takes the time to listen to all concerns and is proactive in referring for further testing when needed. His kind demeanor puts you at ease and he always follows up personally. The administration is helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have your clinic in our community.
My experience here was fine I went in with a soar throat and went to get it checked out. The reception was nice and friendly. There was a wait but that’s everywhere now, so no escaping the wait be prepared. This clinic does have a pharmacy inside so it makes getting your prescription easy and convenient. My only issue was seeing the doctor, the doctor checked my throat and said immediately I had strep and wrote me a prescription for amoxicillin I thought that was great and it would help but it didn’t if anything that made my condition worse. I went to a different walk-in to get it looked because it got worse and he did a strep test and turns out I didn’t have strep. I ended up having mono and it’s highly recommended to not take the antibiotic amoxicillin. The exact prescription I was prescribed definitely made my condition worse. So all and all be careful and make sure you are getting prescribed the right medication here and make sure to get tested or get the right tests done.
Dr. Rahim is the best Doctor I’ve experienced out of Durham thus far. This is hands down the best walk in clinic I’ve ever been to. Dr. Rahim was effective with testing my toddler and prescribed my son medicine in advance of family day instead of having to wait for swab testing. I trust his judgement and he is so kind and has patience with children which is a bonus! I asked on my way out if they are taking new clients but unfortunately not. I would’ve loved to make him my new family doctor. Clinic is also very clean!!
I have been going to this clinic as walk in for over a year now. I take my kids here and my entire family goes here now. Dr. Rahim and the other doctor who’s occasionally there are both very patient and attentive. They always take the time to listen but also make sure to run on schedule so wait times are never long. I hoped to make Dr Rahim my family doctor but they’re already full!
Dr Sharon is great and does a thorough assessment. I’m not sure how Dr. Rahim has so many good reviews. But as a healthcare professional myself I felt like Dr. Rahim was very dismissive when I brought my kids in to the clinic. His assessment is not thorough and I could tell he wasn’t really auscultating my daughters chest well when I was there with her. I went to another walk in clinic and got a chest X-ray ordered for her - she ended up having a pneumonia that would have been missed if I didn’t go to another clinic and had listened to Dr. Rahim. I hope he learns to take parents concerns more seriously in the future.
