Based on my star ratings this gets a slight edge from standard. Partially because in Cranbrook it's probably one of the better places. Usually a four star means go out of your way for the food, so if you are in Cranbrook I would go out of my way but I'm not sure I'd travel from another town for it. It was good though and they a vegan menu which makes it easier for ordering. So if you find yourself in Cranbrook then go on by and enjoy one of the better meals we had there.
5 Asians not even speaking English is EXACTLY what I want to see walking into a sushi restaurant! Super busy with many orders flying out the door for Skip & Doordash is the second thing you want to see. Great service, all the cooks with smiles on their faces as they grill and prepare away. The chef even sent me a complimentary sushima with rice inside of a hallowed-out orange delicious and packed with raw fish.nThis place is a must-try! They offer delicious and high-quality sushi alongside a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommended!
Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and food. This place is a real gem for this city! We were seated right away without a reservation. The restaurant looks really nice and the servers were so friendly and helpful. The food all tasted great but my only complaint was that the dynamite roll had way too much crab, which is probably a good bad thing. The prices here are amazing, I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were for the quality and tastiness. The food all came out quickly and we really enjoyed our meal. I will come back next time I'm in Cranbrook.
Me and my sister were passing through on our way to Calgary from Cawford Bay, and decided to stop in for dinner. Five out of five experience all around! We both got to try some raw octopus for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with the beef tataki! We had to wait a bit for the green tea and thought the soy sauce holder was a perfume smelly thing, but weren't too picky on the wait and the soy sauce made us laugh. XD Feels very authentic as it's cooked by professional Japanese chefs and we got to watch them cook our meals at the bar counter from our booth. If your wanting some good sushi and a fancy dinner, totally go here! Ate: Green Tea, Miso soup, Pork Gyoza, Unagi Eel Sashimi, Salmon Sashimi, Octopus Sashimi, Beef Tataki, Ginger Cake and Green Tea Icecream
When I googled all you can eat sushi this place popped up, but they do not have an all you can eat service. Despite our mistake we still really enjoyed our food and experience here. They have a few good vegan options and we left happy and full. Will be back!
