A large buffet with, I think, 7 steam tables and a separate sushi section. They have all the typical dishes you would expect at a Chinese buffet, plus some American foods - onion rings, french fries and oddly enough mashed potatoes and gravy. In general, the food was a little better than most of the other buffets I've been to. Some of the seafood was not that great, especially the imitation crab. Vegetarian options: At lunch they had 2 mushroom dishes, a vegetable sushi roll and a vegetable stir fry. Parking: The restaurant is in a strip mall with a large parking lot.
It is okay. For the price that you pay, we would rather just drive another 30 minutes to Syracuse and eat there. Twice the size and better foodFood: 4/5
Dinner buffet was delicious. Waitresses were very polite and efficient. No one said anything about tips. We left what we thought appropriate. Waitress told us thank you when we left.
Apr 2023 - I'm updating my rating now to two stars. Well the food quality hasn't really changed good or bad, The price is continued to skyrocket. As of this update it's up to $7.99 per pound when taking out food, And they continue to mix old, burned food with new food. This will likely be my last time eating here for a while. Oct 2022 - Six years ago, my original rating was four stars, because the food was great and they had a good value on their buffet. I've dropped it to a three stars because in that time their food quality has dropped while the price has skyrocketed. The owner there is very cold almost rude. They also tend to mix new batches of food with the old batches even when the old batch is burned. With Google's rating system two stars means you dislike it, and this almost became two stars for me. Time will tell if they improve. The track record so far isn't good.
I just had the worst experience at Sakura Buffet in Auburn. The food was cold and was not being replenished It's around 7, they close at 10 We were moved from our booth because our waitress demanded we moved to a table After not taking our plates, There were 3 of us until they were stacked 8 high the waitress was extremely rude about giving us extra WATER, not even sodas, and at the end of the meal after we were given our cookies, which were stale, she refused to leave our side or allow us to get up until she received her tip. Which hey at least she said "Mmmm Thanks." So at least she is capable of using manners. Kid-friendliness: There's always a couple kids there and the parents are usually pretty good. I just wouldn't get the ice cream as I've seen on multiple occasions the kids tormenting the ice cream Parking: You'll never have an issue with parking here.
People there are friendly and treat all customers the same. Great place to eat. Food, atmosphere and the people.
Food is good and our waitress was nice but the guy walking around with the microphone yelling out orders makes me not really want to go back. Also kind of pricey.Food: 5/5
Food was fine and prices were fair. My big complaint is that as soon as the waitress brought the fortune cookies she began insisting on a tip. She told me to leave money because she works hard. She then came back to the table twice and just stood there. She then said she didn't work for free. Real awkward situation
my boyfriend and i went today for lunch. the waitress was STARING at us eating, felt very uncomfortable and a huge unwelcoming feeling. the food was okay, but very bland. might come back, but was definitely NOT enjoyable!!! he got his money back for himself, and when he did she stared even more just making us feel even more uncomfortable. then made him pay for his WATER!
Decent buffet, we were there right when it opened, so everything was fresh.Food: 3/5
