Tried the wagyu buffet here. Excellent meat quality and very worth it. It is $55 per person and you get 5% discount for paying in cash. The waitress was also really friendly and helpful. Will be coming back in the future. Great value. The negative reviews seem to be from the past. I did not experience any issues here. Enjoyed my time here.
First time dining here, all you can eat Japanese BBQ for $55pp on a Thursday night - overall, I would recommend this place and service was reasonable. With the cost of an iceberg lettuce being inflated to over $10 each, and you get all-you-can-eat for this price, it’s good food and service for what you pay for! For a casual a la cart BBQ nowadays with a few thinly sliced meat would normally cost the same as here, I would say this place is good value and taste. Just don’t expect fine dining and you will have a good enjoyable dinner! The beef was fresh.
I've been to a lot of Yakiniku this belongs to my top 5. They served quick and the food was good. Wagyu will always leave a spot on your heart. However, compared to other Yakiniku buffet their option is limited with this price range. Overall, it was a good experience.
I really felt the need to share my experience here considering the overwhelmingly bad reviews this place seems to have received over the last year. I'll start this by saying I had lunch booked here by a friend so I did my usual thing of checking the reviews and wow was I amazed by the utter barrage of negativity!... To be honest i almost cancelled the whole thing based strictly off the reviews but thought I'd just give it a shot regardless. Look I really could not fault the food whatsoever, we ordered the basic all you can eat menu so didn't receive any of the sashimi on offer in the deluxe one but everything we received looked/smelled and tasted fresh and of high quality. My group of friends all also loved the chicken wings - the flavouring was so good! I'm going to have to be negative though hence the 4 stars.. you could tell that the place was understaffed which I'm going to chalk up as being directly covid related as the hospitality industry has been hard hit in Australia and a lack of available wait staff have all since left the country. Either way the wait staff that did serve us were super helpful but you could tell they were practically running from the kitchen to table the whole service. Also just a note as I read some other reviewers mention food poisoning in their reviews.... Are you guys cooking your meat correctly? I'm seeing pictures of the hotplate filled with every meat at once, mixing uncooked pork with beef and seafood... This is recipe for disaster. Make sure you cook each in batches based off the type of meat and you'll be fine!
A very average dining experience as we felt rushed during the 1.5 hr seating! Service was cut and dry which didn’t help with the enjoyment of the evening! Paid a premium for all you can eat and drink and you need to order all within 60 mins!!! Don’t think we will be back again! Meat cuts were decent and the bbq itself was good!
Wow whatta poor experience I m sorry to say... From the outside looking in literally-as we arrived for our booking time but was made to wait I thought this place would b good...I was horribly wrong... After being made to wait for our table about 20 mins, when we were finally able to sit, the table was filthy! The meats while they came out promptly were bland, the dipping sauces advertised as 3 different types all tasted the same... I ordered chicken karaoke, the outside was hot n crunchy, the chicken inside was still cold! The wait staff God bless them had no idea and always looked in a state of panic/uncertainty... The worst Japanese BBQ restaurant I have been to in all of Sydney...
Ok quality beef. But not fantastic. Limited options. Enjoy the beef harami and pork sausage. A few food items and drinks are self service. Not busy duing sunday visit. No booking requieed. Food service is fast. Kind staff. 5% discount with cashFood: 3/5
terrible attitude no customer service at all there was a live spider in the salad, waiter says no manager, manager is in Japan so noone can do anything about this. just go to the fairtrading. speak to the reception and the girl says manager too busy to cutting meat and can not see us and we were ignored for 20 mins than the guy looks like manager came out from kitchen said we are trying to eat for free. we try to shot a video and he just come to physically stop us. and two more guys came out from kitchen try to stop us physically. we have to call the Police. there's NO APOLOGIES at all
My second visit to this restaurant this time I was disappointed. Had their 99 per person BBQ. Sashimi tasted "fridge smell" and meats tasted mediocre. This visit was right out of covid lockdown, maybe they were not prepared well at reopening ...
Over all experience was quite nice, staff were friendly and helpful, food fresh. Wife and I left happily. I would recommend this restaurant, we will be back soon.
