Nestled into the tree lined neighborhood of Hillside makes you think that Spartanburg is a hidden away secret that must be discovered and you have found a jewel. The food was very good, well prepared, fresh and tasteful. I wanted to try more but I settled for the Kabuki Roll of spicy tuna and some fried calamari; both more than satisfied my appetite. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. If you are around here, this is one place to be sure and visit. Features: All workers were masked.
My wife and I have been going to Sake for a few months now after moving to Spartanburg. The waitstaff are courteous and thorough. The food is AMAZING! My wife likes sushi and has ordered most rolls on the menu now. Her favorites are the Dragon roll and the Brooklyn roll. I always order the Hibachi Filet and Lobster. They do a great job keeping the lobster tender and succulent. The photos are from a previous trip.

Had dinner here with a group of four and the food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! I had Hibachi Steak with miso soup. I got the appetizer in picture "Jalepeno Bomb" which was really tasty! We ordered a large Apple Sake to share and it was pretty decent for our first experience trying Sake. This places feels like a hole in the wall, but once you enter you are transported to a mystical land of Sushi & Hibachi.
We had the Hibachi Combination plates with Beef and Shrimp & Chicken and Shrimp and Spring Rolls for an appetizer. Everything was delicious and we loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Great Service Sushi was on point and the presentation was marvelous! Highly recommend spot. Used to be a old pizza hut but converted to great Japanese Sushi restaurant.
Hands down my favorite sushi place. Made fresh always! The mama roll and dinosaur roll are some of the rolls I recommend to try for sure. There are a good variety of options and you can customize also. If you do not like sushi there is also other delicious options.
Had a great experience here on Christmas day. The place had a number of big parties but the service was not lacking. Enjoyed soup and seaweed salad before the sushi came out, both very delicious. Had to make it official business and get some warm Sake to go with. I can't name the rolls that we had but the flavors were phenomenal. Will definitely be back again and again!
