Excellent Sushi!! Definitely will be back for more. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The Tempura Pickerel Cheeks were amazing! Love that pickerel is on the menu. Can’t wait until our next order.
Great food and staff. Slight deep fried fish smell in restraunt but well worth the trip from Winnipeg. Good Veggie Options and the Rose Garden rolls were beautiful and tasty
We stopped in today to give these guys a try, what a pleasant surprise. The server was very kind and efficient and took great care of us. The rolls and Udon noodle soup was very tasty, next time I’m in Manitoba I will be back.
I grabbed take out, and they were super friendly on the phone. Food was ready and fresh for when I arrived, and they had everything packaged well. It is always a pleasure eating at Sake in Selkirk. I have recommended it to many friends who have also now had great experiences.Food: 5/5
sake is the best!! so fortunate to have this gem in selkirk. always superb quality & service. the new owners are fantastic & sooo kind! they even threw in a free roll in my last order.
Had the Squid Tempura Rolls. The first time I ever tried squid, it was so delicious, just can’t believe what a wonderful dish it was! On the downside they have limited staff and can take up to an hour to serve. My rating 3.8
Best sushi I’ve had in a long time and not expected in a smaller town! Love the environment and homey feel it has when you eat it.
Wonderful food with excellent service and good pricing. The roasted corn tea was unexpected and delicious.
First time being there, I’ve always been pretty skeptical of trying out new sushi places but immediately when we got inside it was such a nice environment, me and my boyfriend loved it. Both of us being big sushi people, that was by far top list of best sushi places we have been too. The servers are so sweet and quick to serve as well!! I 100% recommend trying it out, you will not be disappointed with the service, and especially not with the sushi!!: Dietary restrictions: I had issues with some sushi places due to an avocado allergy which is a key ingredient to sushi, but they made accommodations towards the allergy and the sushi was still by far the best I’ve had!
Very friendly staff, excellent location. The sushi is perfect every time. The food explodes with flavour in your mouth ! Highly recommend the "Spicey Power Roll", but no doubt every roll is recommended. Make sure to save room for the unbelievable, extreme selection of ice cream.
