We care about satisfying your hunger and providing a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to do it in! We have lots of hand crafted drink specials, a helpful, friendly staff, and a wide variety of sushi and dishes for all kinds of taste buds! Sakana is the perfect way to enjoy Downtown Ferndale on any night of the week. Come in and taste for yourself!

Happy Hour is Mon-Fri from 5-7pm. All of our specialty cocktails and martini's are all half off!

We frequently have local music lovers and musicians spin records of all sorts (Rock 'N Roll, Blues, Indie, Motown, House, etc.) to satisfy your ears. Ears shouldn't be ignored in the eating and drinking experience!

Excellent service! Very clean, not too loud, and super friendly staff. Very convenient location and absolutely amazing sushi! I had a blue pearl drink cocktail and a cheery blossom role, totally unique combinations! 10/10 MUST visit.
It's a definite yes! Fresh is the first must be when eating raw fish and Sakana delivered. Full bar with hot Sakilittle pricey though. Ambience is nice and clean, a little dark. Worth the trip to Ferndale.
Not really into sushi, but they have other great options that taste delicious. I tried my friend's dynamite sushi, and I was extremely impressed.
We had my daughter's birthday dinner there. Atmosphere was nice and comfortable Food was delicious. Service was great. Just a tad bit too dark in there.
The sushi is terrific and we are repeat customers! If you haven't been there yet. What are you waiting on?
This was my first experience eating sushi and I loved it! nice clean place! service was Quick but not friendly nor did he have any knowledge of what to recommend for a first timer. could of had a fifth star. I would go back.
Sakana was welcoming after Inyo sushi across the street were very rude to us, rushing and snapping at us to wait in your car to be called to a table we had a great time at Sakana ?,great music!
Food is great - I however didn’t get 1 of my 5 orders of rolls, but “he’s been doing this for 20 years” and could not of missed one set of rolls. Customer service not great, won’t be back
