An unexpected find in a tiny town, the Saint Thomas Catholic Church stands tall on the horizon when approaching Memramcook. Opening in 1855, this church was constructed in the Gothic Revival style, much like ones in Halifax. Inside it may not be as grand as some in the region but it is still something to see. Yellow paint is an interesting choice that makes this place stand out among other churches in the region.
So beautiful and peaceful. It is an amazing structure that seems to watch over the entire valley community. It always amazed me even though I am originally from the area
I'm not religious but the big man let me and my young daughter in to explore. It's a beauty!
Beautiful piece of our cultural history nesteled in memramcook NB, worth the drive along the river to see all the beauty the county hold's !!!
Kind and friendly staff. Nice grounds. You can donate money to get a memorial tree planted in the aging cemetery.
This is a spectacular Cathedral both inside and out. I was given a tour through the Historic Church. Beautiful !!!
