Sailor Hagar's Brew Pub

Came in to watch the Canucks game. A Classic old school pub, nice change from all the pretentious new spots. What you see is what you get. Good crowd mostly older folks and atmosphere. Average food and service. Great price on the wings during the game.

The drinks are great. My caesar salad tasted fishy though and my roast beef french dip wasn't the best. Service was excellent! I'd go back but not for the food.

Went there with a group of friends on the weekend. We experienced terrible food and were served by rude staff. With so many great places to choose from in Lower Lonsdale, I'm surprised this place is still in business.

The chicken wings weren't crispy and the patio was filled with smokers. The sunset from the window was beautiful tho.

My bud tell me that this and the Gull are the original bars in lower lonsdale. Gotta say, its got that vibe I like and very real. Something missing in this over glossed world we live in. A few beers, darts and pool and were heading on to our next spot. A nice change and good service and one funny server.
