Ordered #1 fresh rice wrap with shrimp #24 Pho with beef and #34 seafood pho and coconut bubble sherbet with tapioca pearls. The coconut sherbet was the highlight. Not too sugary, perfect balance of coconut flavour and ice. It’s my new favourite drink now. The broth for noodle dishes was FANTASTIC, probably the best one in Orleans so far. Also, no extra cost for choosing shrimp for rice wraps. Other than ordering some extra meat for #24, we were very happy with the meal!
I wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered. Ok, so I just order 2 dishes from them and payed for extra sides. This is what I got for 4 sides of vermicelli noodles.. total order $50+ And at the end I was told I shouldn't complain. No ginger, sweet crappie taste and burnt pieces of meat and veggies. The worst so far...
Cute little place in Orleans by the Movati gym. We went on a Saturday night as we wanted to go somewhere casual after a day of running errands. Ordered the #119 which was quite tasty. Be warned for those who may have a low tolerance for spice - this was extremely spicy in my opinion to the point I couldn’t finish it. The people at the next table ordered the pad Thai which looked wonderful so for sure I will have to go back and try it.
THE DISAPPOINTMENT We ordered take out food. The pho: Extremely dry chicken floating in a thin extra watery broth. Ramen: Undercooked pasta, sticky, flourish taste like 2 min instant soup.the beef was so dried and seemed so old black on he borders that it was totally inedible. The fried rice, wasn't fried really, it was more a mushy over steamed rice with a drop of soy sauce and no one piece of veggies on it, just a few pieces of boiled chicken. All of these wonders for only ~50 dlls Won't come back even if it is for free.
This place was so bad I had to call OTTAWA PUBLIC HEALTH call 311 if anyone is wondering how The meats was old and oxidized. It’s unbelievable that they said that this is NORMAL?! THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!! Just look at the pictures - The basil was wilted and had dark spots which indicates it’s going bad, same things with the beans sprout, old and soggy. The hoisin sauce tasted like there was alcohol. The peanut sauce literally tasted like peanut butter and water - oh and we got charged 1$ to have sriracha on the side. My mistake was to alert the owner that I was calling OPH, the inspector went to visit the next day and said that it was clean. But honestly, look at the picture for yourself - is this what you call fresh? And want to eat? Shame on this place for ruining simple ingredients and serving old and rotted food!
We ordered the Bun Bo Hue noodle soup, a Vermicelli dish with pork, and a rice dish with chicken and beef. When we arrived to pick up our meal, they missed one item on the order but were able to prepare it quickly. Service was also friendly. The food was good - not the best in the city but still satisfied the craving for Vietnamese food. Thank you!
I have been going there for a couple of years, and I must say it's one of the best tasting Pho soups that I have had in 25 years. The staff is friendly, the place is clean. Today I was disappointed with the amount of food that I received compared to the price I paid. $19 for a bowl that contains MAYBE $1.00 worth of beef, $0.50 of noodles, and another $0.50 worth of broth. I understand we are living in tough times right now, and small businesses are suffering, but ALL of us are suffering. I know the beef is more expensive, but noodles are not and what I got made me angry. I hope the owners will see this review and take a little of consideration when customers come to eat there.
It was very good the menu has lots of options it was my first time trying roman I usually stick to pho I was not disappointed brought my wife there for lunch she enjoyed it as well we will definitely be going to try some other dishes
I was looking forward to fresh rice wrapper lettuce rolls but was so disappointed with the peanut sauce. It should be peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, a bit of sirracha but it was like gravy with a weird texture like it had been frozen and had no flavor. Rolls could use a fresh basil leaf or 2. I only tried the food as Uber eats gives $20 off orders over $40 until March 6. Vegetarian spring rolls were nice. At least I can say I tried it. Ordered another dish and pad thai. Enough food for another couple of meals. Vegetarian options: I ordered the tofu pad thai, lots of tofu not spicy at all. Alot different than Pad Thai express . Overall ok
Fantastical pho! The broth beef pho is some of the best I've ever had. Prices are normal, serving sizes are spot on. They're also very quick so good to grab a quick meal before the movies.
