Absolutely delicious and deserving of more than 5 stars. The samosa chaat appetizer was particularly great; the curries are rich and kept warm in copper dishes. If someone hadn’t tried Northern Indian food before, I would bring them here.

Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service. Buttered chicken tasted like sweet condensed tomato soup. Mulligatawny soup had frozen peas and carrots so the texture and depth of flavour was not there, spicy but not flavourful. Nice atmosphere but the food missed the mark big time so won’t be going back.
The best Indian food I have ever had! I really like that when you ask for a spice level "mild" they actually bring mild! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, but butter chicken is our favorite! The price is very reasonable as well. From now on this is our go to place for Indian food.Food: 5/5
I regret that it took so long to visit Sagar. We visited on a Sunday evening when the business level was low. Monika was a graceful, attentive and knowledgeable server. Everything is fresh and authentic. We had a veggie sampler, butter chicken, shrimp vindaloo, basmati rice and garlic naan. We each took home enough for a second meal. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
This is by far the best Indian food in Eastern Ontario. All the dishes are fantastic and freshly prepared to order. Naan is superb. Portions are generous. Service is friendly, prompt and courteous. They also remember us everytime we go even after a long absence during the pandemic. We'd give it six stars if that was available.Food: 5/5
We ordered the chicken biriyani and the appetizer platter Sagar Special and some butter Naan. It was excellent. So flavourful. It was more than enough for 2 adults and one child. We parked behind the restaurant. Staff were very polite and accommodating
Have ordered twice now, and both times ordered different items as its now our goal to make our way through the whole menu. And both times our expectations were exceeded. The sauces are thick and full of flavour, the spice level is on point. The food is SOOOO GOOD. Super friendly staff, cute restaurant.Food: 5/5
Had a nice variety of things in my order as we were a larger group. The samosa chat was not at all what I expected and was extremely tasty. The onion bhaji was delicious, the naan was chewy and tasty, papadam was light as air and crispy. The lamb madras was spicy and savory and probably the best indian dish I've had from any restaurant. The butter chicken was so tender and juicy, the sauce was a little sweet for my taste but my kids loved it. Portions were well sized, price was reasonable. The restaurant itself was spotless and nicely decorated, staff was friendly, order was packed and we got exactly what we ordered. Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian menu with meat options
I’m a little scared to let everyone in on this secret gem but their food is too good not to flag. I honestly you drive all the way from Ottawa almost weekly to get my fix. They make every order fresh so take that in consideration when placing your orders, personally I like giving an hour notice as they can get pretty busy. Super sweet staff, incredibly flavourful food and so very much worth the wait.
