Butter garlic prawns were good and unique.nCheese naan was good.nChicken Manchow soup could be better.nChicken Drumstick kabab was very oily and served cold. Other items were good in taste but had a lot of oil - Tawa chicken curry and paneer gravy. They said it was butter but they have drenched it in oil/ butter or whatever that was, so much of that oil was flowing on the plate after adding one spoon.nPrice is high compared to quantity.nParking is available.nThey have good ambience, they just need to control the butter / oil that they add to the dish. We understand some dishes require a reasonable amount of oil but not so much.
Saffron India Restaurant is a must-try! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were amazing, it's such a clean, well-kept space. The service was top-notch, handled by the owner, Jay, himself. He's a genuinely nice guy with great energy and gave us excellent suggestions.nnThe food was incredible. The Paneer Tikka Masala was super flavorful, and the Chicken Curry was easily a highlight, it tasted truly authentic, almost like something homemade. The Chili Garlic Naan was literally melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the tandoori roti was also spot on. Jay also recommended the Kashmiri Soda, which was a perfectly balanced, refreshing mocktail.nnWe loved everything, the space, the welcoming vibe, and especially the service!
In addition to a regular menu, they have a complete menu for those with food restrictions such as nut allergies, jain, vegan etc.. The quality of food is awesome. We ordered Vada pav, paneer tikka, honey chilli veg, sizzler, laccha paratha, mix veg and it was all exceptional. The cheese garlic naan was super soft and melted in mouth. The ambience/music was amazing. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. It was very clean and organized and there was some splendid halloween decorations put up. We had a great time!!!
I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious Punjabi meal, featuring Paneer butter kissed Curry for dinner and Gajar Halwa for dessert, and it was an absolute delight!nnThe Punjabi Paneer butter kissed Curry was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The paneer was soft and fresh, and the gravy had that authentic homestyle flavour that makes every bite comforting and satisfying. The balance of spices was just right—warm, aromatic, and full of depth without being overwhelming. Paired with Garlic naan , it made for a wholesome, fulfilling meal.nnTo end the night, the Gajar Halwa was the perfect sweet treat. It was beautifully prepared—soft, flavourful, and infused with the natural sweetness of carrots, along with subtle notes of cardamom. The richness of ghee and garnishing of dry fruits added the perfect finishing touch. Warm, fragrant, and indulgent—it felt like pure comfort in every spoonful.nnOverall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you’re craving authentic Punjabi flavours, this combination of Paneer butter kissed Curry and naan + Gajar Halwa is highly recommended. Truly a heartwarming and memorable meal!
Amazing restaurant ! Great owners ! We ordered paneer tikka and chole bature. Both were superb ! The spice 'taste and all were amazing. The cocktails also were very tasty and cleverly designed to accommodate the Indian cuisine. Must try! I will definitely come back.
