Evening staff aren’t the nicest speaking directly to the two older ladies that work self check out majority of the time and like to accuse everyone of stealing but the management of this place is well mannered and takes concerns seriously. The closing guy forgive me I forget his name is super sweet too. He helped me when I have a concern I wanted adjusted. Food is a bit higher priced but the store is always super clean and well maintained
The staff at the sandwich counter are always extremely pleasant and they make some very delicious sandwiches! We are frequently here for lunch because of the good prices and superior service. - M & N
The Safeway experience is a luxurious one; by grocery store standards! The country style ambiance is great, and you’ll find a great selection of cheeses, baked goods, meats, fresh produce, and deli specialties! They also have a good variety of organic foods for those who don’t care for the GMO’s of this world! The food quality is second to none, and so I’ve found their prices to be a little higher than other grocery stores. Their staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and glad to assist you in locating your items. Overall one of the better grocery stores in town! Be sure to check out their exclusive signature cafe sandwiches, and order a Starbucks coffee!
The ladies at the panini bar are so friendly and lovely to deal with, they took great care in making us the best subs!!! We love all the fun toppings that aren't usually available at other restaurants like pesto, artichoke, cilantro, aoli and shredded carrots I look forward to going back when we are in the area
I choose to shop at Safeway because of the quality of how they treat their employees and the truly Massive and well organized selection in the store.
Went in tonight to get a cake written on. "Happy 49th birthday pops" and I didn't get the ladies name who wrote on my cake. She said she was new and was hesitant but I let her conqour her fear as I know she really didn't want to. For me working in a bakery the last 5 years, I was in her shoes once. I saw her flaws, her mistakes and by all means it is not perfect but I gladly took it and will place it in front of my family. Good job girly, it's readable and you tried your best! Hats off to you
They have removed the option for paying cash at the self checkouts, and this makes me mad. Cash is legal tender and should be accepted at all checkouts.
Go out of my way for this store.... we go there regularly and always have great customer service...
In placing a custom order with the deli department, it is apparent more training is required with their staff. There is definitely misunderstanding in how their pricing works amongst staff. Though management did honor the initial quote we were giving for an order of $176 at time of pick up they try to charge over $300. If their staff had been properly trained and giving accurate pricing, we would have made adjustments to our order. The food was awesome! We were very pleased with our order and the management's understanding.
Usually great service but decided to go though self checkout and the lady who was working the section was completely inappropriate and seemed like she was trying to argue with me and my husband. From now on will make sure she isn't working if I go back. Very disappointed with her attitude and rudeness. Just her not the rest of the staff.
