This is my favorite place to shop in Fort St John. The store is always clean, organized, and comfortable to walk through, and the staff are consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. There is a great selection of groceries with quality produce, a solid meat and butcher section, and an excellent bakery with fresh bread and treats. The deli and ready to eat meals are delicious and convenient, and having Starbucks in store is a nice bonus. I like that I can find almost everything I need in one place, and the updated layout makes shopping easy and enjoyable. It is a little more pricey than some other stores, but the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience make it well worth it.
Absolutely disgusting situation going on in Safeway Fort St John. If you feel like getting Salmonella poisoning or E. Coli just head over to their dairy section and grab yourself some nice warm milk in their broken coolers with green algie and mold growing inside and on the floor. Pointed it out to 3 managers and they just shrugged like their on minimum wage so I contacted the Northern Health Authorities. Coolers are just dripping white moldy crap everywhere.
So far I have found FSJ Safeway to have great produce for the price, varies which items are the freshest, I believe the produce truck comes Thursdays. Natural food section, seafood, meats, deli and bakery here, I find the French baguette sell out fast though. Lots of self serve check outs and regular tills. Easier to find parking here than Save On or No Frills, especially for trucks with long trailers.
They have wide variety of fresh produce with reasonable prices.nYou can find any kind of cheese that is my favorite part.nAlso fruit, bread and meat’s products are so tempting.
Harassment and verbal abusennFor some reason???nFsj has a policy to employ unstable employees and keep them regardless of their stabilitynnResulting in customers being harassed and verbally abusednAnd rather than the employer providing security to the customers???nCan really lead up to and resulting a physical assault from the individuals representing the safeway storennKinda ironicnSafeway not being safe at all
