I am not much of a Safeway fan and have not been here in a while, probably since the lockdowns, but i got in there today, and they whole place was looking different. Better ambiance, great face-lift, excellent floors, and just a much cleaner environment unlike what it used to be. The staff also seemed nicer. A little bit of rearranging had been done on the floors, and it looked perfect. I will surely be coming here more often now, especially with this tune-up.nnTwo years ago, 3 stars. Today, 5 stars.
Clean, well stocked store. Half the staff are friendly and helpful, the other half seem miserable and/or look at you like you're stealing something. Some of the self checkout attendants will avoid looking at you and can't even be bothered to thank you for shopping or putting the basket away for them, even if you're the only person there. It's awkward. Some of them are great, however. Whether or not you feel welcome here is a coin flip, and that's coming from someone who shops several times a week.
This location is always well-maintained and consistently meets all of my grocery needs. The store is organized, the staff is friendly, and I can always find what I'm looking for. However, I do miss the variety and value of the hot food offerings that were available in the past. It seems like there are fewer options and deals in that section now, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it's still a great place to shop, but I hope the hot food selection can be improved to match what it once was.
The evening deli clerks have the absolute worst customer service ever! I have gone in twice in the evening and the delivery clerks wouldnt even acknowledge me! Waited over 10 minutes for service and they blantly ignored me and just kept focusing on prepping pizzas and quick meals.
