Nice place 4 kids 2 visit. Staff is very helpful in explaining what they hv. Huge variety of all sorts of birds, mammals, dogs, fish, lizards.
I've been to the Brossard Taschereau store quite often, this one at the DIX30 does not disappoint with respect to how the store is set up. Somewhat bigger in size it definitely has quite a bit to offer whether you are looking for a new pet or need something for your current oness. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm going back there for my next pet needs purchase ... to also explore the store a little more .
The place was beautifully decorated for a pet store, staff was attentive and the place overall looked very clean for a big pet store ! Felt nice to just walk Around and how the beautiful display of animal to purchase
Nice and clean, employees love helping others and they have some good quality products too. I bring my cat to see the other animals all the time and he loves it.
People are very nice over there but they would need more staff. I buy things for my hamster, fish, dog and cat. There is everything, their fish department is off the roof!! There is so much choice and decorations and type of aquarium. Safari is a must!
It’s a nice place to look at some cute animals and products for your pet but the employees are just not helpful and they trick you quite well. I’m not gonna go into details about my experience but everyone here just seemed condescending and it just wasn’t pleasant. Of course I say everyone because on that day it was specifically that group of people that were not helpful but there’s for sure some nice employees there. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re looking to buy treats or accessories but in terms of adopting a pet, I say just go to a breeder. They trick you with the prices. Saying that the price is lower only because they missed ONE vaccination but then proceeds to say they have to redo all 3 vaccinations since they missed 1? And they say it’s 50$ per vaccination but never mentioned the 120$ consultation fee every time you take your pet to get vaccinated. which I assume they should know about it, it’s common knowledge, you work at a pet store how do you not know about this??? I am genuinely disappointed and would probably not return even for other stuff.
I bought my puppy there a month ago and she is healthy and adorable. Julie is such a gem, I loved her service, along with another long hair girl with glasses that showed me what I needed for my puppy, also not trying to sell me extra items, just the necessities. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there's this cashier, her attitude is quite bad and she doesn't seem realize that. I still go back from time to time for dog supplies but I hope she can just quit the job lol because she's not friendly at all.
It is with great anger and sadness that I am writing this review today. My partner and I were in the store last week and became attached to a pineapple conure. To make sure we weren’t going to make an impulse-buy, we decided to talk it over during the week. When we were confident that we could provide the care and attention that a parrot like this deserves, I returned on Saturday the 22nd of October to ask if the bird can be put on hold until Sunday afternoon, when I could return with my partner for final questions and pick up. I was told there would be no problem and was assured that the bird would be there when we arrived. I even asked if I should put a deposit down, and I was told it was not necessary. We came in on Sunday ready and excited to bring home our new family member only to be told that the conure had been sold not 5 minutes before we arrived. Heart. Shattered. We made a complaint to the customer service reps at the front, whose only excuse was that they are short staffed, and that I didn’t put a deposit down… I was livid, but I decided to just walk away from them since there was nothing else to do at that point. Work on your communication between your staff, and don’t just sell your animals to the people who are ready to drop their money on the spot. There are people out there who spend a good deal of time reflecting on owning a pet to make sure they can provide the space, care, and attention that a pet needs before making the purchase. Especially when they come in the day before to ask to reserve the animal. This was the last thing I ever expected from a store that I have been coming to for years, and this was probably the last time I will set foot in there again. 0 Stars
We reserved a puppy at Safari DIX30 on the 29th of September 2022, and we paid the full price on the same day. On the pick up day: 6th of October 2022, we noticed the puppy that was delivered was not the same one we reserved. Upon verifying from the pictures of the puppy we took a week ago allowed from their staff Isabella, they and us confirmed that they gave our puppy to someone else and we were given another puppy. Although the staff were really nice and helped us a lot on answering our questions, we had a lot of disappointment about them giving away our pet. We couldn't sleep well, since we had a frustration regarding the fact that they gave away our dog which was more expensive than the one we were given. If we didn't mention anything I doubt they would have said a thing, hoping we would have taken away a more expensive puppy. We tried to reach out to their manager Joseph on the 7th of October around 4pm to seek for some compensation and Josepth said they would try to provide something for our dissatisfaction. On the 12th of October, we called for a follow up without any response. By the end of the same day we reached out to Joseph but he mentioned that the responsible person at the main office is sick and absent. So we waited for the whole week without any return call. On the 17th of October we called yet again and finally reached to Joseph but we're given a "no compensation" as a response. We showed them dissatisfaction again for the fact that we had no follow up from their part and zero compensation from their tone. The store manager was not really sincere to get any follow up and not even a sorry for their mistakes. We found their service very poor The store manager said he tried everything but nothing he could have done. It seemed that they lack professionalism and we hope that no one will fall into the same situation as us. We just wish to ensure that if you were adopting a pet from them, make sure to receive the one you reserved or you'll leave with a poor follow up service.
I came to see a dog for potential adoption. I needed 10 minutes to evaluate the dog but they would not show me the dog since it was 4:13 and they close at 5:00. Worst customer service ever! Will not be supporting this company. Just lost a sale of $3000! Big mistake, huge
