Saddle Restaurant

Excellent food and great home town service. A fellow at the local fuel station recommended The Saddle Restaurant as his favorite in town and we were not let down. Great Breakfast menu! Highly recommend local family restaurant.

We were staying the night in Pendleton and wanted a good breakfast place. We came here after reading some of the reviews. Honestly, there weren't a lot of options in Pendleton. When we went in, the folks at the counter weren't the most friendly. But, we were hungry. The decor was cute and it was clean. Bonus! The waitress also wasn't the most friendly. Maybe she was just too busy. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. The coffee was terrible. I don't know if it was the coffee or the creamer they brought us. I had asked for french vanilla and they brought a little cup of it. I mentioned how bad it was to the gal filling our coffee cups. She said it was probably the french vanilla stuff they use for their cakes. Huh?? LOL! Overall, I was a bit disappointed that I listened to the reviews. Maybe those folks went on a different day or haven't had good breakfast food before. Who knows!?

Stopped early on a Saturday during a trip from central Idaho to Portland. Chose this place based on reviews have to say I was not disappointed. Food was awesome. Portions were large and price was reasonable. A new stop for breakfast on all my trips.Food: 5/5

If you're in Pendleton, OR and you want a pleasant dining experience at a great price this is a great place! Staff is great, food is good. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and spirits. Very down home.Food: 5/5

Quite a gem randomly picked for breakfast. Standard diner breakfast fair but all cook very well and served hot. Their dutch apple pie was fantastic as well.Food: 5/5

I was going to give this place 2 stars, but only changed at the last moment when I realized the portion sizes were decent. The Saddle is questionable on many levels and offers worse quality food that north of here where there are several better restaurants. I also felt that service was bottom of the barrel...on par with a really bad mcDonalds.

Very traditional breakfast restaurant. We try the biscuits and gravy everywhere we go. They were good. Denver omelette was good and not too big which I like. All in all I would recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

While I love your breakfast. Decided this trip to try your Friday prime rib special. Sadly it was not so special. The rib was very bland, not tender an overcooked. Baked potatoe could use a few more added sides beyond the butter and sour cream. Sorry not impressed. But the roll and soup and service was okay.
