I have been a happy customer multiple time over many years. Never been disappointed. Always great service and advice. John seems quite intuitive regarding the project and my intentions. Things are shipped and received when they are said they will be. Good advice, intuitive understanding, exacting details that are met and pleasing extras without asks. What more do I really want in any store. Thanks heaps. May we all be happy and blessed.
Did an order online, emailed them after couple of days to know what's happening with the order, they didn't reply. Tried to call them, they don't answer. Money gone, take that as a warning if you want to do business with them. Update : finally got the order, but didn't get any email about the order status
I visit this store often. 2-3 times weekly on average, sometimes more. Never once had anything but a pleasant experience. I'm always treated with respect and kindness, and when other customers are in the store I've witnessed nothing short of that same respect and kindness on to them. Anyhow, if you're in need of something and they have it, or can help you, rest assured you will be satisfied. As a frequent customer so much so I've quipped they might've been getting sick of seeing me lol I can honestly say I'm always thoroughly satisfied with the products and moreover the service, 10/10 would recommend.
I drove 3 hours to buy seeds and when I walked in the guys relaxing with his feet up was so rude to me. He never said hi, come in … he rudely just mumbled where’s your mask. I let him know I had a medical exemption and I’m not even sure what he said as he continued mumbling. He never even got out of his seat which was not even behind a counter I let him know I’m happy to take my business elsewhere. Shame … try to support local but you get better service from online stores. Would not ever support this business. The least you can do when someone walks in is say hi.
Sacred seed is a wonderful little gem in the center of Toronto. There is a wide variety of product, and the one person that I've seen working there is very knowledgeable about the products. There is also written descriptions of the product provided in the store. I had a friend recommend the place to me, and it being there three times, and have never been disappointed. The fact that this place is on Yonge Street, it's easy to access by transit, and everything is well organized in the store so it's not an egg hunt to find what you're looking for. I would recommend this place to anyone!
It really boggles my mind how this place of business even received a single positive review. I'm guessing that the owners were busy creating fake aliases and busy reviewing their own store for some time. I'm usually not one to write a review however my experience with sacred seed is more than personal that literally left me in tears, speechless and broke. The night before, my 20 year old son tragically passed away in his sleep and I wanted to honour him in the most special way that he would have really loved and appreciated. I took the time to pick the perfect strain costing me almost $100 because this was such a huge moment in my life that money was not an issue. When I took them home and germinated them only one of 5 seeds sprouted. Unfortunately my cat got to it before I could stop him. So I did the right thing and came back to the store with my receipt to see what the owners could possibly do to help me with some sort of a solution. After all, this was my only child and my heart was torn so much that I could not even speak a word without bursting into tears. He deserved only the best and I was going to do whatever I could to maintain his legacy in the most beautiful way I could think of. I could almost see him smiling at how proper such a memorial would be for him. To my surprise and utter shock, I was not only treated rudely and accused of lying, I was not given a penny back in return to purchase another pack of seeds. I was basically laughed at straight to my face. I have never felt so insulted. I could not believe I was actually speaking to another human being and I'm not even exaggerating. I was speechless. I left the store in tears and lost for words. It has taken me a year now to even write this review but I had to make it a point to let everyone know what a sack of s*** this manager was. I have met rude people in my life, however this was on another level. Shame on you sacred seeds. Now it's between you and the man upstairs. Good luck with that!

John, he's absolutly nice and kind. He explained to me what l wanted to know and l've been able to buy good quality products that l needed. Very calm and clean place. The service was perfect and you feel that they really care about what you need/ want/ some help... Thanks again to John who was really nice to me and even take some news about how I was feeling. I recommand! :
I like this little shop. John is the guy behind the counter. Somewhere between a Buddhist monk and a Toronto retailer, John is both fun and wise. He'll answer any question, especially if you know how to ask it. He's smart and he's good-natured, and for someone that busy, he's a lot better organized than you'd imagine. You're lucky he's looking after you despite whatever chaos you bring with you.
I used to be a bit of a novice grower, and in being so, i mistakenly bought what i thought was "top quality" for 100$ at the time. But soon to only find out from an experienced grower, who gifted me his own genetics, i was shocked by the comparison in the size but the density at harvest between "top quality" vs free seeds another grower kind enough to gave to me... The picture of course was identical, the description of scent was not a problem, but the density & height threw me off because i fed the exact same nutrients to both plants. If youre told you are buying "top quality", and put in hard worktime into your ladies only to find out that it really is not what youre paying for truly sucks.
