We were looking for a place for late dinner and found this unique restaurant in the College Park area. It's a Japanese bar serves Japanese ramens in a Korean restaurant names "KangnamBBQ". The menu have a variety of Korean food to choose from and the ramens we came here for. I end up ordered the bibimbap instead and my husband ordered the bibimbap in the hot stone container. My kids ordered S1 Tonkotsu Straight Noodle and S2 black garlic oil ramens, the soup base are very flavourful and they absolutely love them! My bibimbap had a variety ingredients in it but the one served in the hot stone is a better choice if you prefer something hot. Overall, the portions of our dishes are big and the price of their dishes are very affordable. We will definitely come back again when we are in the area.
Magnificent flavors. Korean atmosphere and exceptional service. Special thanks to Hilda my favorite server. She does good work. Always above and beyond. Congratulations.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
Great Korean food. Not real ramen. The ramen noodles seem like spaghetti noodles and the ramen broth tastes like it's been reheated, has a cheesy taste which is not what ramen tastes like. The spicy ramen was not spicy, just very peppery. But the Korean food was very good, I mean very traditional. I say go for the Korean food and not for the ramen.
Big portion and authentic food. And 10%off during weekdays! Fullfill my Asian stomach. Will come back again to try their Korean BBQ.Food: 4/5
Delicious food. Can either get Japanese or Korean food which gives you more of a selection to choose from.
Very good Ramen some of the best I've had in MD so far. The restaurant has a very nice Japanese vibe which I love. I ordered the Black T with straight noodles and it was very good! One of my favorite broths. If the pork was better it would be perfect. If you like spicy get the spicy Miso, it is very good. Next time I will try the korean BBQ, I have heard great things
This restaurant has two sides, a Ramen side and the barbecue side. I've only been to the ramen side and have ordered both their Ramen soups and their bibimbop, and they were both excellent. The restaurant service needs a little Improvement as they always seem to be understaffed, however the management really goes out of their way to correct mistakes. For example are bibimbop Hot Pot was given to another table by mistake. We were given a dish to munch on for free until our order was done over. This is why I gave them five stars oh, they really make a great effort to ensure that people enjoy their food. Their parking lot is very small, however there is parking available across the street. Well worth the visit for great food.
Nice! The ramen was pretty good. We all enjoyed. So we had T-tokyo with extra egg, my friend had paitan and that was delicious as well. We also had the tako-yaki and Korean steamed dumplings for an appetizers both were also delicious. I like Saburo's tako-yaki better than Bonchon. Also, the soy sauce is house made and delicious.
The Saburo Ramen bar is part of a Korean BBQ restaurant. The ramen was good and there was a range of flavors. I had the chicken and my son had the tonkatsu. The noodles were the best part. Parking is horrible but the food and service is worth it.
Tasty ramen. I got tonkotsu curry kind! All the ingredients were flavorful. The char siu pork slices were a little tough, but filling and big. I wouldn't say it's gourmet, but it's definitely a great option for a quick and different meal. The ramen bar is inside a Korean BBQ restaurant, so don't be fooled if you don't immediately see ramen in the name. The inside decor has character- lots of wood and traditional ramen banners and things like that. A Ghibli movie was playing on a big tv, and there was Vocaloid and other jpop music playing too! The chef was friendly and happy to be there, which was nice. I'd go back if I'm in the area again!
