First of all the place is gorgeous! It’s also at a great location! We were a group of 12 with two babies and we loved our experience there. It’s tapas style so it’s good to share plates. Everything was delicious from the drinks, the food, the desserts and even their Espresso Sabrosa coffee and tequila ! In terms of pricing it’s a little pricey for Mexican food but YOU ARE AT THE OLD PORT so it’s something you should expect! Overall I really enjoyed everything and this is definitely my new go to at the old port!
Really great tasting food at reasonable prices considering this restaurant is in the middle of the touristy area. Best to come here and order a few dishes for the table. I really enjoyed the tomato salad. Cocktails are very small, better off going with a glass of wine.
Absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, the tacos were so good and everything tasted fresh. Our service by Ismael was spectacular, he spoke with passion about the food and the restaurant. The ambiance was great, the music was popping and the aesthetic was on point. Truly a good vibe, would definitely come back again.
Great restaurant. Food was very flavourful and service was excellent. Not the biggest portions but 4 dishes were enough for my husband and I 88$ after tax, before tip. The tomato salad was surprisingly amazing! Great terasse for people watching. Would recommend this place :
I recently visited a Mexican restaurant that had an amazing cocktail called "Como la flor". It was made with white rum, coconut rum, lavanda and lime, and it tasted great! The green papaya salad was also very tasty, and the shrimp ceviche was delicious and full of flavor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, I had a great experience at this restaurant and I would definitely recommend it to others.
My family and I came here for our trip to Montreal and we were so impressed by the excellent service and great vibe of the restaurant. The tacos we ordered were very authentic considering I lived in Mexico for most of my life. Brenda our waitress was very helpful and was always pleased to serve us. Definitely coming back next time we come back to Montreal.
We stumbled on Sabrosa while searching for some outdoor seating. We needed a cold beer in the shade of the Montreal mid day sun. It was just what we needed. Cold beer delivered quickly by friendly servers. We were seated in the outdoor patio deck overlooking the square. Perfect for daytime refreshments. We shared shrimp ceviche and fried chicken tacos. Both turned out to be light and refreshing choices. Servers were friendly and helpful when ordering.
You have to try this place. We came here on a Saturday night. Just the service itself was amazing, our waitress Carol Ann was great, she checked up on us so many times to see if everything was good and we loved it. They have a nice cocktail menu, I had the como la Flor and it was good, if you like lavender you will like this drink. As a second drink we got an espresso martini and it was so good but when we got the bill we saw that it costed us 22$ for it, because of the price I will never get one when I return, because in my opinion it was highly overpriced. For food we shared, the birria tacos, the salmon tataki, papaya salad and the calamari, they were all good. The birria was really nice and the salmon tataki had so much flavour and I think it was my favorite, the papaya salad was refreshing, the calamari was okay. For dessert we had the choice between orange cake or churros, we wanted to try something different so we tried the orange cake and the cake was really moist which was lovely to end our meal. The restaurant itself is really nice inside, they even a big patio to sit outside. We loved that they were playing Spanish music and loved the vibe all together. Will definitely return, this place is great for sharing food and Latin vibes
The environment & staff were nice. Clean restaurant. Not 100% satisfied with the portions pictures don't justify the portions as picture seem large but tacos were very small and the other meals too and the taste was ok. Location of the restaurant can make it hard to find parking. But the view is beautiful.
Our waiter/bartender was amazing! It was our first time coming and we can't wait to come back. He recommended the best food and our drinks were immaculate Thank you thank you!
