I had to check out this restaurant in person after ordering Uber Eats from them. Being new to Laos cuisine, our waitress recommend the Nam Khao, which turned out to be amazing. I will definitely be returning..
Super delicious!!! I got the green curry, dairy and gluten free. Very reasonably priced and great portion. Highly recommend this place. My table also got a pad Thai, yellow curry, and crispy basil chicken and it was all delicious.
I’ve had good food and experiences here in the past. Still haven’t ordered enough off of their menu to know what I think about it. We ordered 2 dishes that are go-tos and one off the Lao authentic menu. Before we did, I asked the server if it was good. No explanation of the dish, but she did say that it was popular, so we decided to give it a try. She dropped the food off but never came by to ask how it was. The dish wasn’t what I imagined from the explanation, the tapioca balls were extremely hot & sticky with flavorless, dry meat inside and then you just wrap a piece of plain lettuce around the hot sticky ball. No accompaniments, sauce, etc. Anyway, we went to let her know up at the counter that we didn’t like it. She didn’t respond, ask any questions or drop by the table, she kept her head down. When it was time to pay, she gave us a total for the charge without the receipt. I asked to see a receipt, to which she was offended. She asked why I wanted a receipt which should come with any purchase standard. I told her I wanted to know if she charged us for the dish that we didn’t like or eat neither here nor there, I just wanted to know. She said we never told her to take it off the bill and then proceeded to ask if we took a bite. We told her we had which is generally what people do to determine if food is good and then she said well if we tried it she can’t refund it. Again, beside the point, no need for a refund - just asking for transparency so I can decide how much to tip from there. All in all, the food is alright and the service pretty awful.
I ordered take out and delivery from Sabai Sabai several times, and the food is always delicious. It's my first choice for Thai food in the area! Crab Delight on the left, chicken Pad See Ew on the right with a Thai Tea
We went there specifically for the Lao food, good sausages and noodles. There are so many Thai food near me but only 1 Lao food near me. For those who want to try new stuff slightly different to Thai, give it a try.
My wife and I love the Lao food here. We didn’t know what we were missing. Our favorite dishes are the Nam Khao and Mi Gratee pictured. It’s all cooked very well and tastes great
Great flavor and good portion the price. This is my 2nd time here and It will be one of my favorite restaurants for every week.
Good food. Loved the soup. Mushrooms and tofu were delicious. Reasonable price. Nice service.
Very neat and clean. Like the Thai iced tea, very refreshing. After 2 sips you will forget all your tiredness. Had crispy basil chicken… loved it. The crispy taste in mouth and little sweet savor makes it a delight. Don’t make it spicy for any dishes… the original taste is best, they have a great cook.
My first time here and I must warn you, apparently their spice levels are incredibly high. I like spicy food and typically order 3 stars. After eating 1/4 of my meal my mouth was on fire and I couldn’t taste anything. I picked out as much red pepper as I could and tried to push through but my lips and mouth were numb and in a lot of pain. When I mentioned it to them and they commented that their food is extra spicy. I have no idea if my meal was any good and it has been an hour and my lips and mouth are still tingling.
