Honestly the best driving exam experience I’ve had. After failing 2 times in busy areas, this location was a relief. The examiner an older man was kind, calm, and very fair. The traffic is lighter here, and the whole experience felt much more human. I highly recommend taking your exam here.

Don’t present your test drive there, especially with a tall man who has no hair, He failed my exam 2 times by lying saying that I had to respect the speed limit when I always respected it. The first time it was for driving 2 kilometers above and that was his mistake since he does not know how to speak English well and the second time, he told me that I was very slow when if the speed limit is Max 50 km/h in I drove at 42 km/ and in other streets of 30 Km/h I went at 25 km/h. In addition, he is the first person in the world who says that you should not look at car mirrors when it is illogical so why did they do them if it is not to be a help to the driver. Totally unfair to the SAAQ of Montmagny and especially to that bad evaluator who showed his racism and xenophobia just because I didn't speak French. If you want to present your test drive use a dashcam and demand too that injustice, I hope that the money they stole from me will at least help them pay their miserable salaries

It's very important to take a practical exam with someone who reassures you and restores your confidence, which is exactly what happened to me with this gentleman of a certain age—I take my hat off to him! He was a kind gentleman who explained the instructions very well before we even started, and he really helped me regain my confidence. Excellent service, thank you. And of course, the people at reception were also incredibly kind, 10/10.

Like some others here, I agree, you shouldn't take your driving test in Montmagny. It's not just strictness, it's a lie. I understand now why they always have openings. They probably need to reimburse SAAQ Clic. I'd be very interested in statistics on the number of licenses they issue compared to other SAAQ offices. Cameras should be required during the tests because they refuse to allow anyone to be in the back of the vehicle.

Long live the good old days when you could just walk in and take a ticket! Even with an appointment, you still have to wait.
