Jolielet Saaq is an office that is exactly what we think a government office should be. The staff is really nice, very polite, and very kind. The Examiner who examined me was very good, very polite, and taught me many things even after I passed my road test. BUT I HAD NEVER SEEN THESE GOOD THINGS AT HYMUS DORVEL SAAQ......Thank you so much to JOLIELET SAAQ for getting my driving license.

My evaluator for my class 2 driving test, Mike, was very professional and very explicit during the drive, and very patient. I didn't need to stress myself out.

If I could I would give it Zero stars, I faced racism at this center. I was forced to give the test in French by the examiner even though I explained to the person that I have an exception as I am not an immigrant but she assumed this based on my name/skin color that I was one and refused to speak in English. I live in rural Quebec and never have I ever been forced to speak in French. Even after this I tried to give the exam in French, I went there with my trainer and he was standing right near the car and he saw everything that this examiner did including braking the car for no reason as I was pulling out of the parking spot stating I almost hit the car behind even though it was not the case as seen by me and witnessed by my trainer too. Before the exam I spoke to the teller and asked them that I would like to give the exam in English and I was told I could. So either the teller lied or the Examiner but if you’re an Anglo Québécois avoid this center or visibly native or brown.

i had my driver’s exam at 9am, and was seen right away. we left the place at 10am and my evaluator eric was super nice. french is not my first language but he was very patient with me. fast service, would recommend
