Amazing experience! Loved this place so much I can’t wait to come back again! The employees were amazing and very nice. They were very helpful and are such great people. The food was fantastic and definitely exceeded my expectations. This was not cheap quality food that was reheated, this was food made from the soul using fresh ingredients and everything tasted amazing. Prices are also very reasonable. Definitely found my new favorite place to get food out!! They had so much variety to choose from!
We all know that CUSTOMER SERVICE is not what it used to be, but Danita, the cashier/ hostess was amazing. She greeted us and filled us in on the menu as well as their brunch items on Sundays. The food was fresh, hot , well seasoned and delicious! The establishment is clean, modern and well kept. I had the BBQ Rib Tips with string beans and sweet potatoes! My guy had the beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans! We will definitely be back to support this local business!
I’m so glad I finally got the chance to stop by to try them out!! The food was really good! My steak was tender even well done, well seasoned, and juicy. I asked for A1 sauce just in case but I didn’t end up using it, didn’t need it! The sides were tasty & plentiful! I love that they aren’t stingy with the portions. The dinner came with 2 sides and I added another. It may be pricey to some, but you get your money’s worth! The ladies who were taking orders were also very pleasant and inviting. I will absolutely be back to try more on the menu.
I enjoyed the catfish and loaded jerk chicken fries. The staff is great, and are a joy to talk to. The restaurant is very clean and I highly recommend this place. Also try the sweet tea honey we had the Obama And the Michelle .
I wish I could kiss the cook. Maybe I’ll shake their hand next time. the ladies in the front are AWESOME. the cooks do a great job! my first time here- definitely not my last Presentation of the food was GREAT. the food was FLAVORFUL. but best thing was that the SERVICE was A1. If ANY place DOESN'T have great service- many a places would fail. Parking: seems good. unproblematic Dietary restrictions: If you’re trying to eat light they have options !
So I was driving by and noticed an S2 grill in my neighborhood. I was excited to visit. We ordered salmon croquettes and imma just say it was missing thw salmon. The manager shared her opinion about only having 1 complaint and that she would have them cook her one to taste. She never offered to replace it with anything. I called her back over and shared that instead of sharing her opinion she should had offered replacement. The best part of my meal was the mimosas!! They server everything in Togo plates.
The load shrimp fries were amazing. My daughter got nachos and they were good as well. We went to the Orland Park location. Staff were very customer friendly and definitely recommend trying.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
This was my first time visiting this establishment and I wanted to really like it! I ordered the short rib dinner with mac & cheese and candied yams. The candied yams were some of the best that I've had!!! The short ribs were extremely too salty which was disappointing!!! However the young lady Danita was very accommodating when I told her that the meat was salty! She didn't argue or debate with us, she immediately offered us another option! Her and the other young lady at the counter was very nice and friendly with exceptional customer service!!! I'd definitely give them another try!!! The establishment was clean and staff cleaned when patrons left!
I got a catfish dinner and it was just Ok.. I would have like the fish to be fried harder..and seasoned more. The fish tasted baked. Even the broccoli and loaded mash were a little bland. Good portions though I just may get something different if I come back.
I love supporting “black owned businesses”! HOWEVER….my FIRST time trying this place, I called & placed an order to the Orland location, long story short… FIRST impressions are LASTING!! Front counter customer service lady had an attitude even after knowing it was my first time! I placed & paid for my order over the phone! The girl on the phone was pleasant, but only took my phone number & said I would get a call when my food was ready! I go get my food & the lady ask for my name, number, card I used to pay, & photo I.d. I was confused & she said the girl would’ve told me that on the phone. I told her she didn’t or I would’ve brought my I.d. She wouldn’t give my food until I found some form of I.d in which luckily I still had in an email on my phone. But she knew it was my FIRST time & I didn’t know, there was NO REASON for her attitude & not giving my food cause 1…MY PHONE NUMBER WAS ON THE RECEIPT I TOLD HER MY PHONE NUMBER, 2… THEY NEVER TOLD ME ON THE PHONE I’D NEED MY I.D! My name was on my card also!! I’ve NEVER had this problem at a restaurant!!! They’d have more business if they had better customer service!!!
