I had a great experience with Marcella Carpets. Right from the beginning, April was so nice when I came in not knowing what type of floor I wanted. She told me about the different options and gave me samples to take home. After I had made a decision, Dave came over to my house and explained the different installation options and answered all my questions. Since this was the first time I have ever replaced a floor, I had tons of questions and Dave was always there to help. He made the process seamless and easy for me. I had decided to buy my own baseboard and when I was short on baseboards the day of the installation, Nick went out of his way and sent someone the next day to install the remaining baseboard, when he didn't have to. Great knowledge staff. Floor looks amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who is redoing their floor.

If it was possible to give them a negative star, I would! Do yourself a great favor and stay away from this place. They destroyed my floor! We purchased hardwood from them and they had 2 guys who came in and did an absolutely horrible job. Pictures speak for themselves so make sure to STAY AWAY FROM MARCELLA'S CARPETS! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! My floor was installed less than 2 weeks ago and it already has spaces in between, they did absolutely nothing and asked me to remove all doors and the old carpet. How would anyone feel to see nail going through the face of the hardwood! The guy told me to go to Home Depot and buy stains to cover up the nails! ARE YOU JOKING! We only used Marcella's because our contractor for buying tiles sourced our tiles from them. They are absolutely horrible. Horrible service, horrible customer service and overall painful to deal with. This industry is ALL about aesthetics, you would think they would know that by now. All i know is that there are others who have gone down this path too. Its about time somebody teaches them a lesson by disclosing their service to the public. I wont' ramble on anymore. If you take anything away from this review is to NOT WORK WITH MARCELLA CARPETS. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR FLOOR!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HOURS OF HEADACHES AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE!

The short version - we are VERY happy with Marcella Carpets, and specifically Dave Anderson. The long version .. We found a Brazilian Cherry floor here that we absolutely loved, and had a quote done, with and without installation. We ended up purchasing just the wood from the store, and our contractor was supposed to install it. At the last minute, I had to call Marcella because the contractor bailed, and Dave came to the rescue. He worked with us to make sure the area was ready for his installers, and arranged for them to be there the next week. The installers were very friendly, and they did good work. The floors look AMAZING, and I wish those same guys did tile work too because I would hire them in a heartbeat. Our contractor installed our tiles, which we ended up buying from Marcella too (after searching the whole city for something we liked, that fit our budget). And to top it off, we had a custom rug done through Marcella, to sit on top of the hardwood in the playroom. It's huge, and so soft. We need to re-tile our main hallway later this year, and we will be calling on Dave at Marcella again.
