We are second and third Generation guides that have honed their skills by spending countless number of hours deer hunting and guiding on the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. We are Mississippi River Walleye Guides and Buffalo County whitetail outfitters.

Our second year hunting opening rifle for whitetail with Jarrad. His service has us coming back for more! Outstanding and comfortable blinds, lots of deer activity, nice lodging and the best deer camp food you can imagine thanks Maggie!. Jarrad and his guides made sure this novice hunter was in a blind that was not only comfortable but also known via trail cam to have much white tail activity in beautiful Alma woodlands. Jarrad even provided a complimentary Buddy propane heater! We will be back!
We had Jordan as our guide for the day, and we got over 40 catfish in the boat. We wanted to go out on the Mississippi specifically for catfish, and were not disappointed. Jordan had some incredibly stinky bait that worked great.
Had a great time with a great fishing guide. Jarrad put us on fish while other boats right around us were coming up empty. Jarrad knows the water and it shows. Not only did we put a bunch of fish in the boat, Jarrad cleaned our haul to finish out the day. Thanks for a great day Jarrad, Andy's family won't go hungry!
You would be an absolute fool to hunt with this so called outfitter. All Jarrad wants is your money, his very last interest is getting you a deer. If you’re looking to sit in an uncomfortable stand all day long without any consideration of the wind this is where you need to be. Expect to sit in the worst spots available because all the sensible spots will be occupied by Jarrad’s so called guides…buddies. Extremely arrogant and unprofessional outfitter…
I would rate 0 if I could. I'm leaving for Basic in a week. Told the guy I wanted fish for a party. He lied about his name, took us out for less hours than we paid for, and didn't fillet the fish which caused our fish to get gross the ride home even with ice. On top of that, we asked for a partial refund with such a terrible trip. Got nothing from their end but hostility. Would recommend other services
I didn't get a chance to harvest a deer this bow season but this is the best Outfitter I have been to and it's about my 10th hunt with a Outfitter they are hard working and absolutely dedicated to making a hunt successful, lodgings are great, food over the top great guides I can't say enough. I'm still here hunting w/ muzzleloader weather is not cooperating but seeing the bucks harvested during bow season I'm still pumped up and this is a place where anything can walk out in front of you I highly recommend Rutting Ridge and Jarred for a great hunt.
Great fishing guides. I've been out with them three times now and we consistently catch fish when nobody else can.
Great view, clean rooms. If you plan to stay anywhere near or in Alma, I would check here first.
Great people to work with, enjoyed our stay.
