Great food. Sweet staff. Probably the best yogurt sauce I've ever had And my husband makes an amazing one I thought couldn't be beat! Fresh & flavorful. If you are unfamiliar with Indian food, I think this would be a great place to try. : really love the energy & vibrancy Rutas brings to Crossroads Collective!
Over priced not upto my expectations! The reason for low rating is taste of the food for me personally. Some people may like it although. Also, I didn’t find the cost justified. And, I felt misled for what I ordered. The picture showed a Grilled Veggie sandwich for $13 + $2 for a single slice of cheese but I received a cold sandwich. They were probably low on staff so I didn’t have anyone to ask about it. No silverware or napkins were given with the order. Not a good experience. I’ll not go back there and I’d not recommend.
Food quality is good. Entire food court area is good. Busy area and we went for Sunday brunch so it took time to find parking. I found 2 and half blocks away. Vegetarian options: Few but very good veg options
Why didn’t I take a picture? The Goa Pork was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at. The pickled vegetables with it were so fresh and good. The mango and cardamom lassi was so refreshing and satisfying. The service was very friendly. Definitely coming back often. Great meat and vegetarian options.
Very tasty. I’ve been here a few times and I always have enjoyed the food. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the price for the amount of food you get. If I am spending close to 20 dollars on lunch I want to at least get enough food to leave me feeling full. Also charging 2-3 dollars for a single piece of naan, or 3 dollars for a yogurt sauce with a 16 dollar bowl seems a little steep to me.
Absolutely wonderful. The Yogi was a fantastic vegan option!
The food here was very good, and was made with fresh ingredients. Overall for the time that it was made in, this was a great experience, and the price is pretty average for Milwaukee. The menu is more varied than I would expect for a smaller place like this, and the taste is very vibrant and refreshing. They also offer many options to fit dietary restrictions, vegetarian options, and are very accommodating. Vegetarian options: They offer several vegan and vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions and asked me various questions to ensure that I didn't have any
Ruta’s is fantastic! To eat, got a pork naanwich and a chicken tikka bowl, and both were flavorful and delicious. Really impressed with the quality and spice combinations. The pork naanwich was the real star of the show. Had a mango cardamom lassi to wash it down, and it was also exactly what I needed.
Ordered the Chicken Tikka along with a couple other things during lunch time with some buddies - food was very flavorful and well seasoned. It felt very clean to eat and didn't leave me with heavy feeling in my stomach afterwards which is perfect for lunch meal. Overall, it was a great experience but I do wish their proportions were a tiny bit larger for their prices. I would definitely go back again and recommend others to try their food as well :
Owner v kindly offered to entirely replace our dinner to try again free! Can't wait, but just moved and chronically ill, so have to. ..... 3 half mouthfuls of chicken for $16 w long wait. No tx. Tx 4 response, fyi my friend ordered tea but they forgot so he had to go ask 4 it. Tasted great tho.
