The picture on the left is the quality of the avocado I received and paid extra money for in my taco and on my steak fajita bowl. The picture on the right is a picture of a steak fajita taco bowl on “salad”. I didn’t want the rice I wanted a salad and all I got was soupy lettuce at the bottom of a wet, sub par bowl with rotten avocado and “soup” at the Maple Grove location just now… Picked up at 5:30 Got it home and posting at 5:48. This is disgusting and no one should let this out their door
The wait for the food was very long. The place was also very dirty and none of the tables were cleaned. I got the bbq nachos and the chips were very stale and chewy. My friend got street tacos and they put barbecue in them which she did not ask for. I would not recommend. Listen to the reviews!!
Its alright. The first thing I noticed was how heavy my takeout order was. Definitely a large quantity of food for the price. Service was excellent. The people taking orders made sure to ask if I needed anything and checked on my online order so that I did not have to wait too long. The food itself is why I am docking a star. Food was both literally and figuratively cheesy. A thick bottom layer of cheesy brown rice. The only vegetable in my order were two slices of jalapeno peppers. Chicken was dense and dry. Bacon was nice and crispy. The whole dish was salty, fatty and lots of carbs. If that is your thing, great. But this is definitely not a place you visit for something light and healthy.
I'm not a real fan of order at counter, then pick up when prepared, but the margaritas and tacos were really good! Also had the beef nachos,outstanding flavor! Service was a little slow but we dined at prime time so it was acceptable. Lastly the prices were VERY reasonable! First time trying, we'll go back!

I had the breakfast tacos today and they were delicious, exactly what I was looking for! Eggs, bacon, cheese in a wonderful homemade tortilla shell! Lots of beverages available as well. The ambiance was really fun too. I would highly recommend The Rusty Taco!Food: 5/5
I unfortunately had two very different experience at this location. First was outstanding which made me come back. Second time was disgusting. Food was cold, they didn't give me any utensils or napkins. I couldn't eat half of the food once I got home. Very disappointed as the first time was so good. Different staff makes such a difference. Tonight was not a good night for Rusty Taco st this location. Tuesday was the good day. Assuming staff is regular maybe avoid Thursday at all cost....
Today I stopped into Rusty's and I am now addicted to this place. I never knew about it until one of my colleagues told me about it at work. I will always come here from now on. They have all sorts of taco's & breakfast tacos. Who doesn't want breakfast tacos for dinner??? I would recommend anyone come here. Be prepared for a busy line though because if how popular they are. Which is a plus!
Some of the better fish tacos I've found in Minneapolis! Although the service felt slow at times, getting food does not usually take long. The flavor and serving sizes especially on nachos are impressive.Food: 5/5
I very seldomly order from here because I expect horrible customer service but the food is decent. I came in today for a pickup order. Walked in 5 mins past my order pickup time and they didn’t even have the rice ready. A girl making the food was on the phone with her AirPods. The manager is sitting down and it looked like she was just doodling. It had just opened at 10:30 so I don’t know how they didn’t have anything ready at 11:15 when the order was supposed to be picked up. It’s 11:30 and I’m still waiting for the food to be ready and the workers are glaring at other customers giving extremely dirty looks. I think this will be the last time I go to this location. Too bad because it’s convenient as it’s across from my work.
