This place definitely has a rusty edge. The food was mediocre and took a long time to arrive, the table was sticky and hadn't been cleaned properly and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom— which I discovered after doing my business. However I liked my server, and the beer was good.Food: 3/5
This was my first meal in Fernie, and it did not disappoint. Made it a point to go back a few times on my trip for food and beers. Always good folk to chat with at the bar. Highlight here was the famous Fernie Mogulsmoker, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Dark Rum, and Coffee liquor, topped with real whipped cream, a true delight after cold afternoons on the slopes. Enjoyed every time here.
Great spot at Fernie Mountain for lunch or apres ski. Ate there 2 days for lunch. Had BLT and burger next day. Get a spot near windows for great views of mountains. Can get busy on Saturday, so try to arrive by 11:30am for lunch.
Found inside the Griz Inn this is probably one of the best apres-ski spots I've seen. Bev games at the bar, a pool table, fireplace, patio, great beer selection and excellent service. If you're up Fernie this place is a must.

Enjoyed a tasty bowl of chili for lunch. Reasonable price. Was there on a busy February weekend, but we were still seated quickly and service was fast, friendly and efficient. Can't beat the ski-in ski-out location at the Griz Inn.
Great atmosphere! Usually pretty packed so it can be tough to find a table with a large group. Great food! The nachos are LAYERED!! Sooo delicious. Lost 1 star because they were out of cider today, except for strongbow and no one likes strongbow.
